Terre Haute KOA, Terre Haute, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Great restaurant for breakfast and dinner, clean sites. Their rates are scaled to the amenities on your site. The highest rate gives you cement pad and patio with chairs, table and firepit. It's hard to get to because of road construction but worth it. It's a children's paradise as well. We camped at Terre Haute KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Gatlinburg East/Smoky Mountain KOA (formerly Smoky Mountain Premier RV, Cosby, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

After many phone calls to make the reservation, they gave away the site we reserved. The sites are mostly gravel, they gave us a back in and it was small. We spent 5 nights and will probably try to find concrete pads if we come to the area again. We camped at Gatlinburg East/Smoky Mountain KOA (formerly Smoky Mountain Premier RV in a Travel Trailer.

Aune-Osborn Campground, Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 4 nights and really loved this open park. It really IS on the river and can see the 800 ft freighters go by. The only drawback is no sewer but we would stay here again in a heartbeat. The washer and dryers were newer and the room was immaculate. We camped at Aune-Osborn Campground in a Motorhome.

Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping, Mackinaw City, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The lake view lots are the best. The park is hard to navigate, there are so many winding roads. We had no trouble parking our 32 ft MH. All grass or dirt pads. This is mostly for families; there were lots of kids. It is close to the city and convenient to the ferries to Mackinac Island. We stayed 4 nights and would probably try to find another park in the area if we returned. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: December, 2011 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We read the reviews and wouldn't have stayed, but we had to use up a deposit from last year they wouldn't refund. It had rained and the park and sites were muddy. The office staff was unfriendly when we tried to get information about the city. We would never stay here again because of the rate and sites. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here before and like it so much we would stay again. Friendly staff, large pull-through sites, very clean laundry facility and all the amenities you would want. It is right off the Interstate so it is very convenient to get off and on. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Compton Ridge Campground , Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We booked our reservation based on previous reviews on this website and were disappointed. The park is fairly old but very clean and well maintained. To be fair, they are in the process of getting the campground shipshape before Memorial Day, when they start getting busy. The cement pads are fairly short and the trees hang low. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We asked them to cut some limbs off trees that were touching the top of the motorhome, and they were here the next morning to do so. This would be a great park if you had kids. We camped at Compton Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.
