Ocean Breeze , Ocean City, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $6.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was very disappointing. We checked in, the attendant took our fees and told us to go and find our own site and let them know before 4:00 PM where we were. The attendant was not friendly or helpful. When asked if there were any activities planned she curtly said "no". We later discovered that there were cinnamon rolls for breakfast on Sunday and an ice cream social planned for Sunday afternoon. We checked in on Saturday. Almost without exception, the sites badly needed brush and weeds cut. The roads are in deplorable condition. The only thing positive was that the weather was pleasantly cool. We camped at Ocean Breeze in a Motorhome.

Rivers West RV Park, Myrtle Creek, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

This is a terrific campground. The manager is very helpful and friendly. The scenery is outstanding. Even though it is located close to I-5, there is minimal noise from the freeway. Most sites are nicely shaded and all are reasonably level. It doesn't have Wi-Fi, but our broadband worked well as did the cell phone. We were able to use our satellite with no problems. There is a golf course close by (Myrtle Creek Golf Course) which is reasonable and fun to play. We will definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Rivers West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Klamath River RV Park, Klamath, California

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

This park is immaculate. The grass is neatly cut. The view from the waterfront lots is spectacular. It is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only problem is a really tight right turn at the entrance to the park. It is important to swing wide at the entry gate. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Klamath River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Konocti Vista Casino Resort and Marina, Lakeport, California

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The parking spaces are level, however they are very narrow. Not enough room to put our the awning. The staff tries hard but seem to be lacking in training. Also very short handed. The same person who handled check in for the RV Park also handled check in for the hotel as well as cashier for the store. We had to come back next morning to pay our fees. We camped at Konocti Vista Casino Resort and Marina in a Motorhome.

Palm Springs / Joshua Tree KOA (formerly Desert Pools RV Resort), Desert Hot Springs, California

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $5.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Most sites are level some have patios. This is a membership park and we belong, thus the very reasonable rate. WiFi worked well from our site. They are upgrading the electrical hookups, adding 50 amp to sites that were previously 30 amp. Overall a very positive experience. We camped at Palm Springs / Joshua Tree KOA (formerly Desert Pools RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

This is one of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed in. It is clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed for 3 days and will come back for a longer stay in the future. The rate is low because of our Golden Age Pass. We camped at Outlet (Melvern) COE in a Motorhome.

Excellent campground. Sites are all level, Wi-Fi works very well. The staff was very efficient and friendly. We only stayed one night. The ease of parking and pulling out was most appreciated. Mountain Road RV Park, Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We spent one night here. Our site was so bad that we couldn't level the motorhome even though we have good jacks. The person who checked us in was very efficient. The sites are not as large as advertised. The park is layer out on a hill and I would be surprised of any sites are level. We camped at Mountain Road RV Park in a Motorhome.
