Very nice park, especially for an overnight. Rate was PPA. It's on a small lake, nice long pull throughs, some highway noise, but not too much. We would stay here again.

Don't let the "bar" part of the name discourage you. the campground is well behind the combination bar/convenience store/gas station office on the front. It is a great overnight, very quiet. We chose a pull through on the back row, very long, and plenty wide enough. They are dirt and grass sites, but hard packed and our 40' motor home had no issues pulling out even though it rained while we were there. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved this park. The park hosts were friendly and helpful and let us choose our site. The pull throughs in the center of the park are huge, very wide, and very long. We were early in the season and the park was not crowded, so it was very quiet. The park has golf, mini golf, and a huge maze associated with it within walking distance, but far enough away so their is absolutely no noise. The only reason I didn't give the park a 10 was that they need to improve the drainage from SOME of the sites, and all the sites could benefit from adding a gravel parking pad. They are currently on dirt or grass (newly planted) and when it rains, you tend to rack in dirt and grass. But that is a minor deduction. Overall, a wonderful park.

Wonderful, friendly park. We were greeted by the young couple running the park, checked in, and guided to our site. The young lady even provided boards to go under our jacks, since it had been raining, and even placed the boards under our jacks for us!!! Very friendly, wonderful huge cottonwood trees for shade, and a very well kept park. The only reason I didn't rate it a ten was for a very minor drainage issue, BUT, the area has had a LOT of rain for the last few days. We will definitely use the park again when in the area.

We arrived and were checked in at the motel desk by a pleasant lady who assigned our site and gave us a map to follow. We drove into the rv area, and our motorhome promptly buried up to the axle in a soft spot in the road where they apparently had been doing construction work and just filled in the hole with soft, uncompacted dirt. The rig leaned so far to the right that the electric steps wouldn't open. I had to crawl out, disconnect the toad, and fortunately was able to back out of the hole. We managed to get to our pull through, only to find out that one of the permanent residents had hooked his rig up to our electric pedestal. We were able to maneuver and hook up to another pedestal for the night. Needless to say, we won't be back.

We received a first time visitor rate of $62.50 for the first week, then paid $125 for the second week, and a total of $31 for electric, making our nightly average $15.60. This is an excellent park, very quiet, with very nice amenities. We did not use the restrooms, but the laundry room was spotless, and the pool was cleaned daily. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only reason this park did not deserve a 9 or 10 from us is that the site had very little gravel at all, and no under base, so our jacks sank in the mud, and I had to get large blocks to support them. There was almost no grass, but the weed clumps were mowed regularly. With just a little care, this could be a perfect park.

Clean, nicely kept, and the sites are ample size. Each has a concrete patio. Previous comments about limited office hours are correct, and it was closed when we arrived on a Sunday. We parked where we were told when we called for reservations. The only negative is that our site was so far from level that both back wheels of the motorhome came off the ground when we tried to level. I placed 4" blocks under both back wheels, leveled again and the outside dual on the right side still was not making contact with the block. This could be a great park if they would level the gravel sites.

This is a nice park with friendly hosts. It could be a great park with just a little more care. There were weeds around our patio, but there has been a lot of rain lately. The pool was not open, but was covered and screened, and would be a big draw for some people. The only real negative was the loud barking dogs belonging to a work camper who left them outside in a chain link enclosure. Anytime we tried to walk by, they went berserk. That said, we would use this park again for overnight or even longer.

Rate is Escapees 15% discount. Great park with the novelty of it's own drive in theater where you can watch a movie from your rig. Plenty of room for our 40' motor home, 4 slides in our pull through site. Sites are level, gravel, and have concrete patios with a privacy fence, and real patio furniture, not just a picnic table. Lots of trees and landscaping, free Wi-Fi, Verizon cell and air card work great. We did not use the bath or clubhouse. Very nice fenced dog run.

Beautiful location very near the entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park, with huge trees surrounding every site. Although the sites would normally be difficult to get into, the owner is an expert at assisting you in backing in. Spotless bathrooms and showers. Many walking paths, creeks, bridges on the property. We enjoyed this park as much as any we have stayed in. Verizon cell and air card don't work, but a short 5 mile drive into town gets you to the general store which has a cell phone repeater, and the park has Wi-Fi for internet. This could be a 10 except that the sites need paving or gravel to cut down on the dust or mud, depending on weather.

Beautiful park and buildings, with lots of amenities. I didn't notice the roads being as bad as other reviews. There was a worker re striping the parking lots and stop signs painted at intersections the day we arrived, so perhaps they have repaired some of them. Our site was moderately easy to get into, but in dire need of more gravel. It was muddy!! The utility box lid fell off, and the cable was so snowy as to be nearly unusable. The park needs maintenance but is acceptable.

Wonderful setting, incredibly helpful staff, impeccably maintained. This would have been a 10 except that 50 amp, full hookup sites are limited, and the electrical service is old and weak. We had to change to a different site when the voltage dropped so low that our rig kept shutting itself off. The staff moved mountains to accommodate us though. Also tent sites surround the rv sites on all sides. Would have been better to have rv's in one area, tents in another.

Good park for overnight stay. The only problem we had was that the sign out front says, "Riverton RV Park", not "Wind River", so we passed it thinking maybe Wind River was farther down the road. Nope, they just don't think it is important to change the sign. Very nice office staff, and a pleasant overnight stay.

The good: tennis courts, dog run, swimming pool, golf across the street. The bad: the clubhouse was deserted, being used for storage, with rat droppings on the floor. They have nice pool tables, but no lights over them. There is a fairly nice library in the clubhouse. We attempted to attend a scheduled pot luck dinner, and were one of only 3 couples to attend, all visitors, out of some 600 sites. We all just went back to our rigs. This is a very cliquish park, which is turning into for sale sites for summer residents. Ok for a few days stay.

We overnighted here based on previous reviews. This is an outstanding park, well run, well maintained and very quiet. The entry is a treed, landscaped divided road that reminds me of the entry to some of the grand Southern Plantations. They do have playground equipment, but thank goodness it was at the end of the park, and was not in use. All paved streets, level concrete sites, large metal picnic tables, and some of the most lush grass I've ever seen in an RV park between the extra wide sites. They are adding more sites and have planted more trees in the newer sites. One of the best parks we have been in lately.
