Double J Campground and RV Park, Chatham, Illinois

Date of Stay: May, 2005 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a well maintained campground with large camp sites. We stayed here for three weeks. It is a few miles from Springfield, the capitol of Illinois, and Lake Springfield. Lots to see and do in the Springfield area. We camped at Double J Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Birmingham South Campground, Pelham, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2005 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Reserved a specific site and upon arrival was told the occupant of the site had extended. I reserved this particular site because it would accommodate a big rig and there were no obstacles to be concerned about. I was assigned another site that had many low hanging tree branches. Unfortunately the coach came in contact with many of these branches scratching the painted surface. This was a costly stay and could have been avoided had the reservation been honored. We camped at Birmingham South Campground in a Motorhome.

Neshonoc Lakeside Camping Resort, West Salem, Wisconsin

Overall Rating:

This is on my Top 5 list of campgrounds in the US. The sites are large. The owner's/staff are very friendly and helpful. The campground is located in hilly West Central Wisconsin close to La Crosse and the Mississippi River. We camped at Neshonoc Lakeside Camping Resort in a Motorhome.
