Clinton State Park, Lawrence, Kansas

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful place, but no Wi-Fi or cable TV is available. We have camped here in tents as well and really enjoy the shaded sites - shade in the RV sites is a little harder to come by. We love Lawrence, especially the commercial area on Mass St. We camped at Clinton State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Kansas City West / Lawrence KOA , Lawrence, Kansas

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

There is excellent highway access, but no highway noise. Downtown Lawrence is a great commercial area with local businesses and a wide selection of dining choices. KOA staff was very friendly. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. We camped at Kansas City West / Lawrence KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Kansas City East Trailside RV Park, Grain Valley, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We purchased our travel trailer at Trailside RV - the dealership next door to this park. They gave us a free night at the RV park since we were first time RV buyers - what a great idea! We were able to drive over and set up, and call them with questions. They came to the RV park and helped us out. In general, nice RV park. Close highway access, and lots of shade trees. There were no activities, and availability of items in the store was limited. The staff was friendly. Wi-Fi does not work in spots on the outside edge of the park - they have signs that says they are working on that. We camped at Kansas City East Trailside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
