Date of Stay:

This is our third stay in 2 years at this park and it does seem to be slowly deteriorating. Water pressure runs very low at times, small repairs seem to be neglected, the Wi-Fi is broken and not high speed anyway, and electrical voltage often is too low to run an AC unit (per the service person we called to fix what we thought was a broken AC). We really hope they have some plan to upgrade soon as this is the nearest park to family for us.

We are very suspicious as to why this campground has so many very high ratings. Sure it's newer and very clean. The grassy sites make the park highly attractive on first view, but there is nothing to do either at the park or in the direct vicinity, and the park has NO amenities. We also have never felt to unwelcome at an RV park. Upon check in, we learned the park is cash only, which we were not told when we made the reservation, and our teenage son was told he was not to leave the RV without an adult, not even for the showers as he "might damage something." Yes, the Wi-Fi was good, but we were told to get on and get off quickly as they could not afford a good system. Rules and warnings were everywhere. The park, which was mostly empty, also presented a VERY lonely, isolated feel, and with nothing to do, the few other campers kept inside their RVs. On the plus side, the restrooms were very clean and the showers nice and hot with great water pressure. We will not be staying here again.

An older KOA, but well kept. The staff was wonderful. There is a great and well stocked store. Satellite reception was great, but the Wi-Fi is connected to a lower speed Hughes satellite system which was very slow to load many sites. The trucker stop next door, which was at one time quite extensive, is now closed. We would stay here again.

A comfortable and very pleasant park amid the trees and small hills of northern Georgia. Satellite reception is a bit tricky if you don't get the right site, and the wifi, while good, would often drop connectivity to the web without warning. The restrooms and showers were immaculate. We would enjoy staying here again.

An older but very peaceful park with lots of trees. The price is for the weekly rate with an extra $2 a day tagged on for air conditioner use. We stayed here as it is the only park with internet access anywhere near the Nauvoo, IL area, but sadly, the WiFi was not up to the task, refusing to even assign an IP address to one of our two computers. Fortunately, I have a broadband card as a backup, and Sprint worked well here. We would probably stay at this park again.

This is a really nice park: lots of tall trees and an almost rustic setting with all the amenities. The owner was wonderful and took the time to show us to our site. Just a few things spoiled our stay. The Wi-Fi system is very up to date and very fast, but it has a very sensitive limiter that locked us out of high speed access when I engaged the speed test. I'm sure it would prevent any online gaming as well. The wonderful trees here also made satellite reception impossible, even from the "best" satellite spot in the park. I also needed a good hot shower due to back problems, but the showers are rigged with a push button system that provides only 60 seconds of somewhat warm water per push and is not adjustable for temperature. Our special needs would probably prevent us from returning to this park, as beautiful as it is.

There's a lot to do at this park. Our son loved the free mini golf. Pizza delivery is available right from the office which is open late and usually full of activity. We only stayed one night, but would have liked to stay more. The Wi-Fi didn't work too well probably because it was overloaded with all the guests here. Flying J Wi-Fi is available as well, but it too seemed overloaded. We would stay here again.

This was a really nice older park with a lot of country charm. Sites were gravel/grass and fairly level. The Wi-Fi clocked in at an amazing 7.5Mps, the best we've ever seen at an RV park in our many nights of camping. We will stay here again next time we come this way.

A very nice newer park that still isn't in the GPS. Sites were gravel/grass, but level. The Wi-Fi worked OK, but was an older B system which was surprising considering the newness of the park. We would stay here again.

Date of Stay:

The park was clean and the sites level. There were not many other transient guests or we would have needed to unhook as the pull-through sites are double stacked. The Wi-Fi worked for about 30 mins, then quit and the office was unable to get it working for the remainder of our stay. We would probably stay elsewhere next time to be sure of good internet.

The park is immaculate and the spaces good sized. The owners and staff do lots of little extra things to make your stay a great experience. The Wi-Fi was nearly perfect and free. The back-in spaces do back up to a supermarket loading dock, but the noise was not too bad. There is an RV repair and supply place right next door.

Older park, but pleasant with lots of shade. The staff were very friendly. We did not get a chance to use the pool, but it looked great. I liked the fact we could check and fill our tires right at the park. The Wi-Fi worked OK most of the time, but is older and obviously overloaded. It is also not free. Despite its age, the park has good services. The price is high, but hey, this is California, and there are few other options anyway.

Date of Stay:

Clean well kept park with friendly staff. The water pressure was quite poor despite a poster at the office touting high water pressure. The Wi-Fi is NOT connected to a high speed service so many web services are unusable and some websites cannot load. The Wi-Fi is also in poor repair according to the office. Park voltage drops in hot weather limiting AC performance.

It is a very pleasant older park that has been well maintained. There are some long term residents, but in nice, well kept rigs. The large trees are lovely yet there are still plenty of sites with a good view for satellite TV. Cable TV was added to the sites on May 11th and was also being used to increase the bandwidth for the internet which was quite overloaded and did not work well for us. The owner plans to have the wifi upgraded by Memorial Day. The Sprint cell phone signal was highly variable. We called Sprint and were told a nearby airport was likely to blame. This might have also interfered with our wifi signal which was strong but could not carry the internet much of the time. There are lots of little extra touches make the park seem homey. All the facilities were very clean. We will likely keep using this park in the coming years as we have family in the area, but we will check the wifi first.

Beautiful park in a mountain setting. The park was quiet and beautifully landscaped. Staff were friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi went down while we were here. Tengointernet operates the Wi-Fi, but it is free.
