This was our first visit to the Okeechobee KOA. This is a very large place, with an RV side and a Full time side. We enjoyed the golf course, swimming pool (nice and heated) and playground area. We saw lots of seniors, which we thought were going to clash with the kids in our group. it was just the opposite. We found other campers and residents very helpful and friendly. The restroom was right next to our site and it was clean and it great shape. Our favorite was "The Shanty" bar. loved to visit there and the prices were great for the drinks. We loved this campground and would love to visit it again. Just not crazy about the price, maybe in the off season.

Stayed here for the New Year's weekend. The campground is nice and well maintained. We stayed on executive circle, which does not have sewer. My only complaint is that the restrooms near this location are horrible. The showers were moldy and the bathroom stalls so small that your feet stick out from under the door. The other restrooms were nice and the stalls were normal size. I hope they update this bathroom, as we like to stay in this park.

The park was nice but the restrooms were always muddy from the rainy weather. They also keep the doors open all the time (no privacy!). The security guard at night was overwhelming and made it very uncomfortable. We complained to the front office, but that did not do any good.

We camped here with our camping club for the weekend. The campsite was great. There was a nice playground for the kids and the staff was very friendly. We took a nice bike ride around the levee on Lake Okeechobee. The park is also very clean and well maintained. There was no shady spots, but luckily the weather was cool. There were also nice fire pits which we used every night. As stated in other reviews, the surrounding areas are rundown and blighted, so not much to do outside of the campground. We plan on staying here again before the summer months come.

We stayed here over the Halloween weekend. They ran a great special that also included 2 days in the Lion Country park. They had plenty of Halloween activities for the kids too! Most folks decorated their campsites and it looked like a Halloween village. Trick or treating was so easy and safe! The campground is always spotless and the staff is friendly. Wish there was a bit more shade though. We would definitely come back here again, especially for Halloween.

This campground is literally in the middle of nowhere. The grounds were clean & in the summer, we were just about the only campers there. There was not much for the kids to do. They had mini golf which kept them occupied for most of the time. The pool was also nice. Tiny store & nothing else around to go to, so we had fun by making our own fun. The spots were nice and shaded and we were able to beat the heat by staying in the shaded spot & using the pool.

Very shady & wooded, however, the inner spots are accessed by dirt roads that are tight! Took a few tries to get my camper backed in. Thank goodness for other helpful campers that guided me in. Friendly staff and clean! Would definitely come back here.
