Kalyumet Campground, Lucinda, Pennsylvania

Overall Rating:

We have been coming to Kalyumet at least once a season for three years. Each year we see improvements and upgrades. They have a beautiful pool. The restrooms and showers in the main building are extremely clean and well taken care of. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. The sites are all shaded lightly with pines. Also, I can't forget the fresh made popcorn on Saturday nights--Yummy! They have a very nice mini-golf course and arcade that includes pizza and wings as well as hand-dipped ice cream. They even are offering pizza and wing delivery to your campsite on Friday and Saturday evenings. This campground is well worth checking into! We camped at Kalyumet Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Paradise Bay Park Family Campground, Findley Lake, New York

We have camped here before: it is a family friendly campground with all shaded sites. The hookups are conveniently located at the sites. Most sites have graywater drains, but no blackwater. The water quality is excellent. There is plenty of activities in the area and a beautiful lake to enjoy. They just installed a new pool for 2011. We have already booked later this year and next year. Geneva State Park, Geneva, Ohio

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park and campground. It is 15 minutes off of I-90 with easy access for any type of RV. The sites are large and mostly flat. The website indicated our site had 20 amp hook-up, but when we arrived it was a 30 amp hookup. There is plenty to do, hiking biking and swimming, bring your bikes for 2 miles of paved trails and 4 more unpaved. The restrooms were clean, but they only have 3 shower stalls, so time yourself accordingly. The sites 1-37 did not have as much shade, but were very large. The other loop was mostly shaded sites. We camped at Geneva State Park in a Travel Trailer.

American Heritage RV Park, Williamsburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Great campground. The staff is extremely friendly and help full. They offer several reduced rates tickets to local attractions. The pool is nice and the kids loved the hippo slide. The number of sites with shade are limited, in the middle of summer in Virgina you can never have enough shade. It was above 100 degree's on several days, and there was no problems with power. I would recommend this campground. We camped at American Heritage RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
