Travelers Woods, Bernardston, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly staff and campers. Nice landscaping all around, a tall hedge aisle way gives privacy to sites on the path to the bath house and rec room.

We were offered a pull through when they realized we were only staying one night.

We did not discover the nice rec room until we were checking out. They have quite a library, big TV and many DVDs comfy chairs and sofas too. It is upstairs from the showers, which were clean and lots of mirrors and counters, almost like a dressing table. We camped at Travelers Woods in a Motorhome.

Kampersville, Salisbury, Vermont

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Busy place on weekends. Full of tents and happy families. 2 pools and lake shore swimming very nice. Shady sites OK to maneuver into with out 25ft Class C. Park hosted a dance both nights. All ages in together. One neighbor started getting loud and rowdy, but only for a short while. All quiet all over on time and folks were generally quiet in the mornings too. I would go back for sure. Big storm blew over power pole, no elec for a few hours, even the store had no power but all got along and it was a good stay. We camped at Kampersville in a Motorhome.

Prairie Dog State Park, Norton, Kansas

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful setting. Overlooking the lake. Premium price for a pull-through site.$2.50 extra also gets you satellite dish. The sand beach had washed away from storms, but I bet most of the year it is nice to swim there. Loved the walking paths and time watching the prairie dogs hop in and out of their holes. This time I even saw three burrowing owls. We camped at Prairie Dog State Park in a Motorhome.

Riverside City Park, Scottsbluff, Nebraska

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Whole town has an amazing smell. Two feed lots nearby. Gravel pit machinery reminded us of the Rock Eating Monster, but it stopped early in the evening. Super friendly Camp Host. Super friendly town. Stopped at Curves and Jo Ann Fabrics and everyone was very pleasant. We camped at Riverside City Park in a Motorhome.

Auto Inn Motel and RV Park, Newcastle, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are tight. One big 5th wheel couldn't make it in a site and just left. Tight turns. Our 24ft +toad took two attempts before fitting in the park. It was WAY more $$$ than we usually spend, but I wanted Wi-Fi the night before Escapade. Strong Wi-Fi signal but NO connection to internet. Sad, gravelly, dusty little place. For those camp fees I want more. We camped at Auto Inn Motel and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good facilities and incredibly friendly people make this park feel like home. During the Winter Texan season there are so many activities, it is like a cruise ship. We camped in a Motorhome.
