Big Pine Campground, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $25.00

If you like being in the trees, this park is for you. The sites are on a hillside and were level. It rained while we were there, and the droppings from the trees made a mess of our motorhome and everything we left outside. We couldn't receive any television coverage. Would consider another park in the area next time. We camped at Big Pine Campground in a Motorhome.

We liked this campground a lot. Very friendly and helpful staff. Gravel sites were level and clean. Each site has it's own garbage can. Nice open areas for walking a dog. Horses on site can be petted. Nice laundry and showers. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Douglas KOA in a Motorhome.

Memorial Park Campground, Huron, South Dakota

This was a great overnight stopover. New camp host in 2008 was very helpful in checking us in. We did not have reservations, and there were only two other rigs in the camp. Nice level sites with full hookups. Great walking area along the river for us and our dog. Small golf course across the road. The camp is located in a beautiful park. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Memorial Park Campground in a Motorhome.
