RedRock RV Park, Island Park, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful location. Staff is the best you will ever find. Rated 9 instead of 10 because there is a very small handful of sites that are quite small. They're still nice, just very small compared to the vast majority of the rest of the spots. Most of the other spaces are spacious. We camped at RedRock RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice little campground. Super friendly hosts. Not much around it - makes for a great stop if you're on a longer trip. We camped at Camp America Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Campfire Lodgings, Asheville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

What a gem! Campground is on top of mountain. Premium sites (numbered with 'P’) have positively gorgeous views of valley below. Even the non premium sites have good (though much more wooded) views. The entry road is steep and windy but very manageable - don't be discouraged by it. Staff is fantastic and the on site groundskeeper sets the gold standard for what other CG's should strive for. We camped at Campfire Lodgings in a Fifth Wheel.

Caboose Lake Campground, Remington, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

A clean and well kept campground. Extraordinarily friendly hosts/owners. The previous comments about being close to the interstate (real close!) are accurate. I found it to be white noise and it did not take away from the experience for us - especially at night when the AC noise drowned it completely. Pull through sites are VERY long, but they are on the narrow side. Some of the hookup locations are in awkward places in some sites (water hookups are "between" sites, so for one rig the water is on curb/doorside, and on the other it will be in the typical street-side location). We had to buy more water hose and our sewer hose was stretched to the max but made it. Camp store had an assortment of all hoses you would need if you were short. Man-made lake is very clean and is quite nice. We camped at Caboose Lake Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Holiday Shore Campground and Resort, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park with many activities for kids and adults alike. We stayed in one of the pull through sites which are located essentially on top of a hill. No view of the river, but it was a very nice site nevertheless. If you have a long rig (our TT is 33') inquire about their rear entrance as this will save you some stress. Staff was very friendly. Sites were very clean and very roomy. We will absolutely stay here again. Campground is just minutes from all of the other Dell's activities if those are of interest to you. We camped at Holiday Shore Campground and Resort in a Travel Trailer.
