Hayward KOA, Hayward, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Spotless. Staff works hard to make sure park is very clean. Everyone is very friendly! Well stocked store. Wifi was fast and mostly solid, much better than in the past. Downsides: sites and roads are somewhat tight, and tall trees everywhere: no satellite and no sun. Almost no over-the-air TV signal either. Verizon cell service works, but AT&T does not.

Town is very close for easy shopping and dining. We camped at Hayward KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Heritage RV Park, Coffeyville, Kansas

Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

I came back after 5 years. aside from adding wifi, park is the same. I don't really feel that wifi justifies the 8 dollar hike in price. Still a decent park if you need something convenient to the Coffeyville area. The new wifi was solid and fast, park was kept reasonably clean, and the host is friendly. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Heritage RV Park, Coffeyville, Kansas

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very basic park for a very cheap price. We were in the area to work, so it worked for us, but its not exactly a 'nice' park. Spaces are tight, and there's no bathhouse at all. If you can't stand traffic noise or trains, either don't go here, or wear earplugs... this place is noisy. You can get hooked up to cable if you're staying a while, but no cable provided by the park. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Titusville / Cape Kennedy KOA, Mims, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Overall, good park. Restrooms were spotless. Store staff was friendly. Helpful escort to site. Plenty of crystal clear cable channels. The bad? very very slow Wi-Fi. There was decent signal throughout the park, but the connection itself was almost as bad as dial-up at times. We camped at Titusville / Cape Kennedy KOA in a Travel Trailer.

The Woods RV Park and Campground LLC, Montgomery, Alabama

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

A great 'pass-through' park! Right off I-65, and very close to I-85, but even as close as the major roads are, trees around the edge of the park blocks a good deal of the road-noise. Every site is pull-through, with FHU and 70 some-odd cable channels, and they are all reasonably level. WiFi has been recently updated with more routers, and signal is now good throughout most of the park. The only bummer is: no shade. We camped at The Woods RV Park and Campground LLC in a Travel Trailer.

VERY bad. The park is laid out poorly, making it hard to determine where your space actually is, and sewer hook-ups are haphazard in their placement. The laundry room smelled strongly of rot and mildew, and the smell was in the washers, and transferred this smell to my clothes. The office was very cluttered and un-business-like, and smelled of stale cigarettes and dog urine, and the 'store' had barely anything at all in it. The bathrooms by the pool were locked, and the showers were non-functional. The other bathhouse was laughable: absolutely filthy, and the bathroom stalls were so tiny I literally could not stand up straight (its a good thing I'm not claustrophobic). The indoor pool was closed for repair (broken pumps, AND the ceiling at one corner had fallen down). I'm relatively new to RV-ing, but this experience shocked me. We camped in a Travel Trailer.

Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park, Millington, Tennessee

Date of Stay: January, 2008 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Very beautiful. Great getaway. Only water and electric hookups, but then again, it's a state park. The dump station was easy to get into and out of. We camped at Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park in a Travel Trailer.
