We stayed here over Labor Day. The spot we had was very tight. The last night we were there they rented the spot next to us to over 10 people. They had a tent, trailer, and many cots that they slept outside on. I talked to the manager, and he said it was a camp and outside sleeping was OK. I don't quite understand for the next year they aren't going to allow tents but you can sleep outside. He also said he couldn't control the number of people in a site. The people leaned items on our RV & we were unable to open our storage bins. There were also a lot of skate boarders. One almost ran into my dog but did run into one of their golf carts. They are dangerous because they had no brakes on them. My 9 year old had a great time riding her bike around the camp. They had a breakfast Sat & Sun. We went to the Saturday one and it was OK. I don't think they clean the site real good, for there was buckets of sand on our table we had to clean. The check-in was great and they were very nice. The park is pretty in the redwoods next to the river. They have two really nice spots next to the river for 85.00 but they are tight. Overall we enjoyed ourselves.

Check in was fine. The pool motor was broken so there was no pool. There are a lot of long term people here. There were only 4 short term RV's. The sites were gravel and a little grass between the pull through sites. This is a one night stay RV park. I don't know why this is a KOA. I don't think I would stay here again.

The check in was fine. The Plug in box for the electric had 2 large black widows that my husband had to kill before we could plug in. There were 2 rugs at our spot that should have been put in the garbage. Had a large grass space that was OK for one night. There were gravel pads. Pool looked OK and there was no freeway noise. Nice shade trees. The office was real nice & helped our 9 year old get internet service. There were only 2 of us that were short term.

About 15 minutes from I-5 to the RV park on a county road. Nice check in. It is very secluded and quiet. Beautiful green grass with very large cement pads, but not much shade. Everything was very clean. The river was beautiful but steep sides so you had no access. The owner was very nice and in talking with her she said she discourages people with kids. Our 9 year had nothing to do except to ride her bike a short way. We had to store our garbage in our tow car at night and put the garbage out in the morning because of the animals. If you have no children and want to just relax then this is the place for you. We would not stay here again with a child.

Check in was going to your spot & there was a paper with your name & dates. The spots were big but the grass was filed with weeds and stickers. I used the washer and dryer which was new and just wonderful. There was some highway noise. There was no swimming in the river. Lots of room for the kids to ride their bikes. I would stay here again.

This is a nice RV park. There are quite a few full time RV's but they are kept up. At check in we were told the spot right on the river which had been confirmed 4 months prior had been given to someone else the day before. There were 4 or 5 spots empty that they could have given out but our spot was much better and right on the river. I was very upset and asked that they comp the spot they were giving us and they did for 3 nights. The Rogue river was beautiful & we loved watching people catch fish right in front of us. The spaces were long tight pull throughs. We would stay here again but double check on our reservation a week before. With the problem in the past they were very nice. I would stay here again.

This is a really nice RV Park. We had a river view space which was great. The spaces were nice & big. Nice grass around our spot & very clean. The pool was really big and so clean. There was a little traffic noise but not too bad. When we checked in we felt they were glad to see us and really wanted us there. There was a grocery store and restaurant within walking distance. We loved it here and would stay again.

This is a place to stay for one night. There was graffiti in the playground. Dog poop & bottle caps all over. The check in person didn't want to be there & couldn't tell us how to get to Red Bluff nor where highway 99 went. There are 60% to 70% full time people living there. It has a nice big pool and close to highway 99.

There are a lot of great things about this RV park. It is quiet, the man at the gate was very nice. Our grand daughter took the horse back ride and loved it. The girl leading the horses was really great. The RV spots are large, but dirt, there was no privacy plants between the spots. There were bottle caps and garbage that wasn't cleaned up when we arrived at our spot. I never saw anyone cleaning up the RV spots. The pool area was clean and the pools were very nice. The last 1.3 miles was a one way road. There were 3 switch backs that you couldn't see around and they had mirrors that the driver coming down could see if there was someone coming, however the person coming up had no clue if there was someone in their path. We were towing a toad and it would have been hard for us to back up. Rancho Oso wants people leaving to use the road in the morning and the ones coming in to use it in the afternoon. That sorta of works but every time I used the road and met someone however not at the switch backs. I don't think my husband wants to drive that 1.3 miles again. As far as cell phone use you can go into the lodge, which is very nice and they have a booster and I was able to get an AT&T signal.

We have stayed here several times. The spot we stayed in was a little tight for out 2 slides and parking our toad. The area around our Motorhome could have been a little cleaner. We had a little bit of an ocean view which was nice. They were helpful sending us to a good restaurant. It it easy to get in and out. About 5 miles to the grocery store. They are very friendly and kids are welcome. We have made reservations for New Years.

We have stayed here many times. The staff is wonderful. We had a problem with a slide out and they came to our rescue. We were late checking out because of this problem and they didn't charge us extra; told us not to worry about being late. Stores and restaurants are close. We needed directions and they went on the internet to get them for us. It is real clean and a great place to stay. My granddaughter loved the pool and taking the trails down to the river. We have reservations for next year.

The RV park was great over all. The lagoon was great for the kids, the pool was fun, & there was lots for the kids to do. The one major problem was the planes. The planes start taking off from John Wayne airport in the morning, about one every 3 or 4 minutes. During the day they take off about every 15 minutes. They do stop at night. I couldn't even talk on my cell phone when they were taking off. The camping space was ok. It was sand & wide enough for our easyup. I do think it is a little pricy at $117.60 with the tax. It is a good family park.

This park is right on the river. The suckers on the trees and bushes need to be cut back so you can see the river better. Our camp sight was not real clean. I noticed after everyone pulled out on Sunday they didn't clean them before a new camper arrived. Our fire pit had trash in it, and we would have had to clean it before using it. I told them over the phone we had a pull trailer that we would back in. We wanted to stay an additional night so they moved us to another sight. It was a pull in and not a back in. We had to step over the hoses when we wanted to look at the river being careful not to trip on them. We got lost using the bridge and so did a lot of other people that were there. We had to use our GPS to find it. We used the ferry to leave which was easy. Just make sure it is full tide. There is nothing on the island so bring everything. They sell their ice for $4.88 which I felt was high. It is quiet; the camp sites are long and have some trees. Over all we liked it.

This is a great RV park. The rate was a little hard because we had extra people for a couple of nights and a tent. It was a holiday weekend so that is usually more, and they gave us 10% off for writing a check. The management is really helpful. The cable TV is great. We were able to watch a football game that we really wanted to see. They deliver wood to your site. Our kids used the pool and were happy with it. There was no charge for our 2 dogs. They let you pick the site you want and guarantee it. We have already booked for next year. The park has a lot of shade and the smell from the trees is wonderful.

We had a space right on the bay. People would walk between our space and the Bay. The spaces could have been a little cleaner. We had a hard time finding the office as well as other people. The spaces on the bay are deep and skinny. The cable TV was limited. The park needs to be updated. The people in the office were very friendly and helpful. It was full on the weekend, but pretty empty during the week. The fire pits are placed in a strange location. Our fire pit was next to the back of the trailer next to us.
