I stayed here years ago, boy have things changed for the good. Lots of grass, trees, shrubs, and lighting. Asphalt throughout which is a problem for the owners as there are numerous holes where RVs punched through the asphalt. You can't find a closer CG to St Louis and there is even a metro station a few yards away. A little pricey but not bad for a once and a while splurge. You step out your door and there's the St Louis Arch!

Right off the freeway and a very friendly staff. Not far from Independence and Kansas City. Many sites have been improved with hard scape but apparently the enthusiasm wore off and there are several tons of pallets of brick and blocks on site in plain view. The Wi-Fi was mostly good and the local TV reception was great. This is a nice CG that could be super!

This is your basic off the interstate CG. Mostly dust and gravel roads, though their are mature trees and other landscaping attempts. Wi-Fi does not work or works poorly. Another oddity is the distance between your utilities. The sewage hook up is 15' away from the electrical and water hookups. I've never seen such a set up before. Reception is cordial and helpful beyond what you would expect.

What a customer friendly CG. If all businesses were run like this business the world would be a wonderful place. Customers are Number One and it shows. The front desk was courteous and helpful above many other CGs I have visited. You are driven to your site and everything is pointed out and the last thing the employee asks is there anything else he can help you with. This area of Wyoming is barren of vegetation, dusty, and windy so you won't see a lot of grass and trees but this CG does the best it can given the location.

The office is only occupied after 3 PM so find a spot on your own. Rate reflects 20% discount for cash. Everything worked except WiFi though the closer to the office you get improves the signal. Trains wiz buy a few hundred yards away several times a day but is more nostalgic then a bother. Owner is definitely not a people person though the young girl who takes over in the evening is very nice and helpful. Trees were just blooming and the grass area was nice. Not many other choices for another 200 miles.

This place has all the whistles and bells but "RESORT" ?, I think not. Most spaces are taken by extended stayers which are generally in good repair with only minimal clutter associated with extended stay. Some of the extended stayers have parked their construction equipment besides their RVs ... I think that is something the management should prohibit. The park is in good repair and well cleaned up.

Top Notch! A real First Class RV park with a professional, helpful staff and clean well maintained, level sites. You can't get a better CG for the money. Definitely a return is in the cards.

The person who assigned a 40 foot motorhome in a 35 foot space must have done so out of maliciousness or humor. There are several spots that could have been more appropriate and that remain available as night falls. The CG is a perfect spot for exploring the Monterey Peninsula though it is lacking in appropriateness of it's facilities. Some spaces are way to narrow to maneuver and are too narrow for a full size motor home or 5th Wheel though perfect for a small trailer or Class B or C. There are no convenient parking areas for your Toad and no space to park in front of or beside you RV. At $30 a night it is no bargain given facility shortcomings. Although they say Wi-Fi is available throughout the CG you may have to wander around a bit for a Hot Spot. I think I'd rather go elsewhere to a CG that really cares about their campers.

If you can divide the evaluation of this park into Facilities and Attitude: the park gets an A Plus for facilities and a D for the attitude of the Front Desk people. At nearly $60 a night you would think courtesy and helpfulness would be right at the top for park personnel who interface with customers. You will be disappointed here. I began coming here back in the mid-80s when they served a Danish with your coffee in the morning. When I asked for assistance in getting maps and brochures for wine tasting, I was told to go to the lounge and see if any of the brochures on the rack would help. The rack was disorderly and of no help. This type of assistance was similar to what I met upon check in. I really think you should be guided to your site for a park of this size and at a premium price. This was not the attitude that kept me coming back in the 80s - 2002. We will skip this park on subsequent visits. I can get a better attitude at other CGs.

What a delightful campground in every respect. The host & hostess are super helpful and polite. The campground is beautiful with oleanders at the entrance and in between the individual sites. This campground is impeccable; I can't say enough about it. Temperatures were in the 100s when we got there, but the pool was cool and clean. You will not find a complaint at this campground. Perfect.

Any port in a storm! Nice reception person, but park is somewhat run down without Wi-Fi or Cable TV. It is dusty, dirty, and filled with extended stays who have the debris and trash around their RVs that extended stayers are known to have. If we could have found a nicer campground we would have gone there. This is an AVOID on our list.

I don't think I would drive all the way up here again with so much better CGs in Williams. There is no TV WiFi or cell phone reception (at least for Sprint) and once you are here shuttle buses take you every where. It's a 120 miles of extra uphill driving you don't need. We stayed here in a motor home.

If location is everything then you can't do any better. The CG is a parking lot with W,E,and S and a little grassy area close to the river. Security is heavy as it is in a seedy part of town. You are near walking trails that take you over the river, past the presidential library and on into the downtown area. Very nice walk. We would come again as there really isn't anything else closer.

What a great state park! Twenty-five large sites (plus 18 "Horse Campground Sites") three miles from the freeway in a heavily forested area with many nature trails. Total darkness at night with only the sounds of the crickets. A really super place to stop. Nothing is really close for sightseeing other than the home of the Confederate Vice President. If you're in the area this is a wonderful campground.
