Date of Stay:

This park does not have many sites but that was a nice change of pace. The sites were very roomy and shady. Our site was leveled. Restrooms were clean. Staff was friendly. Most all the campsites were on the lake. Very quiet park and we will come back.

Very nice National Park. More rustic if you are use to RV parks. No showers or hot water. Restrooms were clean where we stayed which was in Loop F next to the stream. Great family environment. You can fish, ride bikes, tube and hike. You do have to purchase a Tennessee or North Carolina fishing license to fish in the park. We purchased our licenses on North Carolina's Fish and Game website. Very reasonable price for a 10 day license. We will be back.

Very nice State Park. Plenty of shady sites and places for kids to ride bikes. We stayed in area #5. Restrooms were clean. There are some small hiking trails and the 23 mile Pine Mountain Trail. Park staff was friendly. President Roosevelt's Little White House is located in the nearby town of Warm Springs. We enjoyed our stay and we will come back.
