Buffalo Trails Campground, Williston, North Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

In desperation we pulled into this campground in the pouring rain even after reading previous reviews. Only available site was "electric" only. Office said it was actually $30.00 for 30 amp electric but after-hours sign said $25.00. Site was in the middle of a weedy field surrounded by an array of dilapidated trailers, old motorhomes and junk. Will be out of here at the crack of dawn. Even locked all our hatches! We camped at Buffalo Trails Campground in a Motorhome.

Red River State Recreation Campground, East Grand Forks, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This is actually the Sherlock Park Campground in the Red River State Recreation Area. Absolutely the nicest and most accommodating park we've been in this summer. The Park Service personnel couldn't be more helpful. They even took me around to help choose the site and filled mud hole immediately after bring it to their attention! Lots of nice mature trees, green grass and open space between sites. We camped at Red River State Recreation Campground in a Motorhome.

Olive Street RV Resort, Vista, California

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Brand new facility and while the amenities and staff are excellent the "sites" are not. Only about 2 or 3 sites out of 60 are level. Site #48 is one of the best. All of the (concrete pads) sites are also extremely narrow with NO entry or patio space. Hopefully they will be able to fix these issues or they won't have many return customers. We camped at Olive Street RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Chula Vista Elks Lodge #2011 (Members Only), Chula Vista, California

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

We like to stop here to begin and end our summer travels. Great shopping in area and close to 805 freeway. While it is basically one BIG huge parking lot with designated RV spaces which are very narrow. They have set up a very nice pavilion with tables and barbeque along with a cozy "campfire" area for Elk travelers. Cable TV is currently not available. . . . hopefully they will find another supplier. We camped at Chula Vista Elks Lodge #2011 (Members Only) in a Motorhome.
