This used to be a membership resort and now you can simply make a reservation. It has obviously seen better years. Be cautious of the wiring, I had an overheating problem with my wiring. The amenities are in OK shape and the place it is not busy. It has a very large pool and has an indoor pool as well. When it was new it must have been very impressive. Good location. Overall, not bad, not great - just average.

When we got there someone was still in our spot even though it was well after checkout. They were full and had to track him down which killed a couple hours. I would suggest they check spots to make sure people have left after check out time. They were very nice but it did kill a couple hours. Other than that you are right on the beach, the site as a mix of sand and grass. Awesome location and they have really fixed the place up over the last couple years. The seasonal spots are in a different area. It is within an easy walk to the Diary Queen at the entrance and into town. The city had a band at the entrance to the park on the Saturday night. Overall a nice park, especially for a county park. Definitely a bit high on the price though.

We enjoyed our stay. The sites were large, it had a very nice pool and the staff was very helpful. At the entrance you have the Turkeyville restaurant which was excellent. They even had a dinner show which we did that wasn't exactly Broadway but it was very entertaining and great food. They had a craft fair during the day was as enjoyable as well. The only downside was the roads and sites were all gravel. Lots of dust. Lots of places to walk to dogs. It is worth the trip.

This is a top notch resort, one of the nicest you will see. Everything is gorgeous, the landscaping, pool, clubhouse, office, etc. There is a great bike trail that will take you into town. The staff was exceptional as well. They are trying to sell the sites but there is no pressure. The only downside was they did not have a table or fire ring on the site. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here while visiting the sites in Charleston. The service was great, they were intent on making you happy. We had a great site that looked right at a beautiful lake. Great walking trails for walking the dog. Was able to pick up DishTV without a problem. Very conveniently located for restaurants, pharmacy, grocery store, etc. however it was a pretty long trip with A LOT of traffic to get into old Charleston. Some of the areas closer to downtown did not look very safe, this location was very safe. It was probably a mile off the highway and very quiet and peaceful. As with all KOAs it was a bit pricey.

We stayed in one of the premium patio sites which was well worth the money. Very nice large sites with a patio, fire pit and picnic table. This park has been going under major renovations and they were almost ready to open a new section when you come in. The bathroom have been completely redone. They have a shuttle service that will run you to downtown Nashville which is great as parking is not easy. It stops at a dozen places and the KOA is at the end of the line. Great way to get downtown but it is not quick. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 night and found it very nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The roads and sites are all paved. Our site was adequate but there were bigger sites in the campground. I was able to get satellite TV. The trolley for Gatlinburg stops right in front of the place. The dog walk area was decent. We would return.

We stayed here for 5 nights while visiting Wilmington and found it to be an excellent park. The service was outstanding, the facilities were excellent and you could not have asked for a friendlier staff. Very nice dog park area plus plenty of places to take the dogs for along walk. We paid extra for a Deluxe Patio Site including a gas grill which was well worth it. The only downside is the roads are not paved and there is ALOT of dust/dirt in the air. Other than that we fully recommend.

We stayed here very early in the season and there was still snow on the ground. Mostly seasonal campers. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There are a lot of lakes around which is probably very attractive during the summer. Lots of place to walk the dogs. From what we saw we would stay here again. A bit pricey though.

We have stayed here several times. It is a nice large state park right on the St. Clair River. Lots of space and trails, both paved and not, to walk and walk the dogs. It is open year round (no running water rest rooms in the winter) and we have staying with 18' on snow on the ground - they plow some sites. It is a very nice and pleasant campground and a good weekend getaway.

We stopped and spent the night in route. Beautiful office, rest rooms and pool - outstanding. It is in a bit of a field and there is a fair amount of highway noise. The spots were gravel and level. Overall it is a very nice facility. We would definitely stay there again. Rate reflected Passport.

This is a Great RV Resort! In our top 10. The pros – campsites are in excellent condition, concrete pads, great power, cable TV, Wi-Fi, fire pits, etc.. Attached on one side is a great Putt Putt, Go Carts, Batting Cages, and Arcade. On the other side is a very nice golf course you can walk to from the back of the campground. A half a mile down the road you have a great public boat launch and at least a half a dozen nice marinas all on Lake Erie. The pool is very well maintained along with the laundry facility and the park store. The bathrooms and showers are a 10+, you won’t be disappointed. Our kids are grown but there are tons of planned activities for the kids. There is an adult section if you are empty nesters as we are which is great. We stayed here for a month two years ago and love the place. You can’t go wrong with Harbor Town. The cons – like some others have said there is a train nearby. It was not a problem for us but I could see if you were in a pop up it would be a bit more noticeable.

The current part owners have owned it for two seasons. They are very nice and helpful and are working hard for improvements. They have a very nice beach and water slide area to a lake. We were there for a sporting event in a nearby town and it was pretty quiet that weekend. The set up would be really great for a group especially in their "Meadow" area. The Meadow did not have sewer and they did charge to use the dump station on the way out. Overall if we were in that area we would stay there again. It was pretty far off the beaten track but as said earlier it would be a great trip for a group. The rest were clean but old.
