Though a decent place for an overnight, they charge too much for what they offer. The utilities are placed some 40 feet apart - with water at the front and electric at the rear-most section of the site. Sewer hook-up took two hoses connected together. The sites are level gravel pull-throughs, but absolutely no grass. Suspect that's expected for this desert area.

USA RV Park in Gallup, NM is the type of RV park that causes many people to choose Wal-Mart as an overnight stopping place. Nightly fee was $29.45 cash (they said the credit card machine was broken) and since I did not need 50 amp or cable for overnight, was parked in a site next to a large tree that blocked the satellite. No cable TV hook-up available, and though they advertise free Wi-Fi, both Wi-Fi signals were "Limited or No Connectivity." The park does offer many amenities to include swimming, restaurant, and nightly entertainment, but for a one-night stop-over it is just an expensive gravel parking lot with water and electricity. Save your money and park at Wal-Mart.

Friendly host, provided much information. New facility, good attitude, long, level sites. Campground will only improve as time goes on. Would definitely recommend for over-night stay, although Summit, SD is a very small town.

Very accommodating hosts. When I asked to move to a site other than the one assigned, she cheerfully changed the site assignment even though she was preparing for a busy holiday week-end. Cable TV was a nice convenience. The manager gave us a lot of sightseeing information in the area. Trees provide shade and a very nice setting and the central location here in Bemidji is very convenient. We would definitely stay here again. For us, 50 amp electric service would have rated this park higher.

Park was cluttered with various junk and long-stay residents. Though they had Wi-Fi, it was unusable in the coach. Even though we paid for 2 nights, we left after one night. Would not stay again.

We stayed 3 nights and were surprised they would not accept credit cards. The hosts were most gracious and provided information on the surrounding area with recommendations on best places to eat, things to see and do. Would definitely stay again.

Wide, level sites with good separation. Wi-Fi included in price, 10% discount for FMCA, Good Sam, AAA, etc, but this place is a sand lot in a windy area. Does not justify the $33 price tag in my opinion. (But they did have Trick-or Treat candy at check-in).

This place would serve as an overnight stop if nothing else were available, otherwise pass it by. The only reason we stayed was to get off the road because of high winds. The office is in a shabby trailer, no facilities available. Eleven full H/U sites with 30 amp, but power is low. My Progressive Industries Electrical Management System tripped when the micro-wave was turned on under normal electrical load (lights, TV). The maximum allowable load was 16 amps.

Date of Stay:

The drive-through sites are packed tightly, and although there are trees, because of the closely spaced sites, they are trimmed providing no shade, and drag on the sides of the coach on departure. WiFi was weak to unusable throughout our stay. Receptionist was friendly, but facilities and the long list of "don'ts" do not justify high price.

Squeaky clean restrooms, long, wide, level sites and friendly accommodating hosts. They provided much tourist information and materials and answered every question. This truly is a resort in the facilities provided. Will definitely return. Suggestions? Only that they install WiFi, which they say is on the way. Definitely rates a "10" in my book!

Totally agree with previous ratings. They now have WiFi: only $1 for password! This is a great place for a great price!

Sites were level, shaded, with grass and picnic table. A continental breakfast is served each morning. Office staff was helpful and courteous. Will definitely recommend to friends.

We attended a small rally at this park. The previous ratings notwithstanding, we found this park to be a dusty, run-down place whose owners display a very positive attitude. That attitude did not mitigate the dust and dirt, rickety old picnic tables and dilapidated buildings in this old water park. Traffic on the gravel roads create continuous dust. The meeting room assigned to us was musty, and dirty: most club members elected to congregate outside. Though 50 amp electric is available in a small area, the majority of sites were 30 amp without circuit breakers, the service connections at the rear of the site, requiring at least two sewer hoses in order to connect. Several WiFi access signals were available, and although there are several WiFi signals, (8 were listed) some with Excellent Signal Strength, the speed is very slow. We will not return to this dust bowl.

We had reservations, but on arrival was told by the rude receptionist that they were full. The campground manager took me for a ride to see if there was a site for us, complaining that they did not take reservations because he couldn't keep up with it. We found a spot (very closely spaced sites with no patio or picnic table) and I paid for only one night. Had to insist on my Good Sam discount, and the discount was refunded by the rude receptionist. We could have parked free in the Cabela's parking lot next door!

A new park with level long concrete pads, all are pull-through, wide spaced with grass and concrete patio with picnic bench. Sparkling clean bath house and laundry, free WiFi and cable. The only thing to make this better would be for paved streets. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
