Cascade Campground, Moses Lake, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is on the shores of Moses Lake. It's managed by the City of Moses Lake, which must be putting tax dollars to good use to make the town more attractive to tourists. With that said, it's located close to town (just over a hill), without being right in it. There is a beautiful park within walking distance, and a boat launch with plenty of parking. The hostess was very pleasant and even helped me get backed into one of the smaller sites overlooking the water on a bluff. We were there on a busy weekend, but it was still quiet. The hostess emphasized the fact that it is a family park with strict quiet hours, etc. Very nice overall! We camped at Cascade Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Riverside State Park, Nine Mile Falls, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent park for being so close to town. The road to it is a little narrow and winding - high above the "raging river!" (We went in early May.) The camps are basic, water and power, and are not too close together. We camped at Riverside State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Spokane KOA, Spokane Valley, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Sites were way too close together for comfort! There were train tracks next door that were noisy every hour or two, ALL night long. Would rather stay in Wal-Mart for the noise at those prices! We camped at Spokane KOA in a Travel Trailer.
