Camp Hatteras RV Resort & Campground, Waves, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $68.00
Overall Rating:

Less commercial area. Easy access to the beach. Nice place to stay for beach time. Plan to do lots of driving to see the Outer Banks sites. Great fresh shrimp close by. Nice roads and ample size sites. Camp ground mini golf could use some care. Pool was older but clean. We camped at Camp Hatteras RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Ocean Lakes Family Campground, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $69.00

Great place for kids. Easy access to the beach. Concrete sites are wonderful. This was our 4th stay. We were on two sites 2001 (Too windy and too much noise from the cooling unit for the hotel.) 3084 (Great spot w/ large tree, really busy spot on main road. Great for viewing traffic but rather busy location for small children). We camped at Ocean Lakes Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Asheville's Bear Creek RV Park & Campground, Asheville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Good location. Easy to find. Convenient to local sites. Clean park. Went swimming and then went down town to the fireworks. It is an older park, very well maintained. Check in was a bit tight but we were able to park with one trip back out and around to the entrance. Good interior roads. Good use on every available inch of space. Clean pool. We camped at Asheville's Bear Creek RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
