Saugerties / Woodstock KOA, Saugerties, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

I wasn't crazy about this place. Close, tight spots like being in a wooded, shaded parking lot. Only campground I've been to that insisted campfires be out by midnight! A little too strict for my taste. We camped at Saugerties / Woodstock KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Rip Van Winkle Campground, Saugerties, New York

Wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Very easy going as long as you are respectful and courteous to other campers and the environment. Excellent sites that are scenic and reasonably private, they are not stacked together like spots in a parking lot! We camped at Rip Van Winkle Campground in a Travel Trailer.

My favorite campgrounds. Super clean and excellent maintenance of sites. Fire rings with adjustable and removable cooking grates! Water is available as well as a dump station at the bathroom shower building. Very quiet, well maintained hiking trails. Your hosts are wonderful people! We camped at Thetford State Park in a Travel Trailer.
