Donegal Campground, Donegal, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: May, 2005 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Older campground. Restrooms and showers clean but very old and uncomfortable. We were the only campers but easy access off the Pa. Turnpike. Owner very nice. Pool not open yet. We camped at Donegal Campground in a Motorhome.

Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA, Sugarloaf Key, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2005 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

The sites are short; a 40' rig would be a squeeze. They are also narrow, maybe 20 feet wide. Showers are clean but slippery and cleaned at times other than those listed. The folks who work there are very friendly and helpful. There is a "honey wagon" for $10. Shuttle to Key West costs $15 per and leaves at noon and returns at 8:30 PM. Weather was great as was pool, hot tub. A friendly, nice place. We camped at Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA in a Motorhome.

St Augustine Beach KOA, St Augustine Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2005 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Mostly seasonal campers or year 'rounders. The person next to us had a huge iguana which slept on his dashboard. Another person had three St. Bernards. Facilities were clean but old. Help was OK but not outstanding in any way. We camped at St Augustine Beach KOA in a Motorhome.

Bar Harbor / Oceanside KOA, Bar Harbor, Maine

Date of Stay: September, 2004 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

A really nice park. The LLBean shuttle is free and takes you were ever you want to go for free and leaves very frequently. Employees are great; there is an escort to your site who carries their own leveling blocks. "Honey wagon" is expensive ($30.00). Lots of mosquitoes. We camped at Bar Harbor / Oceanside KOA in a Motorhome.

Lots and lots of kids. Many permanent sites where people come every week end or for the whole season. Very tightly knit. Many activities for adults and kids. Very noisy. Help was very nice. We camped at Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.
