Holiday RV Park, Phoenix, Oregon

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Many long term people in this campground. Some very messy units, lots of stuff sitting around their RV's (steps, motorcycles, bbq's, bikes, junk, etc). We stayed in the overnight section which was okay with large pull through's. Lots of standing water in large puddles. Staff was polite and easy to deal with. I-5 noise was tolerable, would like it quieter in a park further away from the freeway noise. Probably will not stay here again. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Vineyard RV Park, Vacaville, California

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Quiet 1/2 mile away from I-505. Very muddy when we were here in early March. Many long term people here, although their sites were pretty well kept up. I would ask for a site in the new section if we were to stay here again. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Not sure we will stay here again, would probably look for another option. We camped at Vineyard RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town (formerly Sam's Town Casino & RV Park) , Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Okay park! Very tight spaces and we do not like shared utility sites because of loss of privacy! If you want to stay here the plus is the security, the minus is the tight spaces. Can walk to the casino to loose your money. Probably would not stay here again. We camped at Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town (formerly Sam's Town Casino & RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Havasu Falls RV Resort, Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Very narrow sites! Clean all concrete and gravel areas. Hwy 95 noise was bothersome! Not much of an area to walk pets. Very expensive for what you get. No Good Sam Discount, will not stay here again. Was the most expensive RV park on our trip and was not the best!! We camped at Havasu Falls RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Crescent City / Redwoods KOA, Crescent City, California

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here for a family re-union. It would not have been our choice if we were organizing the re-union. Staff was not unfriendly or friendly! Sites were close together, which in our case was okay because our neighbors were family members. There was a large muddy area right where we stepped out of our rig. Guess I would say in our experience, this was a typical KOA. We camped at Crescent City / Redwoods KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Sands RV and Golf Resort (55+ Park), Desert Hot Springs, California

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for two months in an upgraded or premium site. We had a nice view of the desert and mountains from the rear lounge of our 5th wheel. Sites are private separated by hedges. Standard sites back up to each other, but are quite wide. The park was in very nice condition, well maintained by a friendly staff. The golf course was in excellent condition and the Pro-Shop was very considerate. The pool and spa were very nice and well maintained. A very pet friendly park with lots of places to walk the dog. We will stay here again! We camped at Sands RV and Golf Resort (55+ Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here one night. Very nice park with spacious pull through sites. It was fun picking oranges off the trees located between each site. Staff was friendly and efficient. Some road noise from the access road, but not bad enough to keep us awake. We will stay here again. We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The Fair Park RV - Alameda County Fairgrounds, Pleasanton, California

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We actually parked our 5th wheel here for storage while visiting relatives. The sites are very tight and difficult to back into. Our site was very muddy with large mud puddles. Camp host checked us in and was on a personal call while we waited for check in. This park was okay just to store our RV, but would not stay here if we were occupying the 5th wheel. We camped at The Fair Park RV - Alameda County Fairgrounds in a Fifth Wheel.

Campers Inn RV & Golf Resort, Dunnigan, California

We stayed here one night. Park is located right next to Interstate 5, therefore very noisy! Pull through sites were very muddy as well as the access roads. We will avoid this park in the future. We camped at Campers Inn RV & Golf Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
