AB Camping & RV Park, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The park is easy to find from I-25. The staff was friendly. They serve good bar-b-que in the evenings. It was great not having to worry about something to eat after driving all day. I told them that they would really have a hit if they served some kind of breakfast in the mornings. I would have rated it higher but there were several permanent campers around us. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Colter Bay Village RV Park -- Full Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) , Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

This is a National Park RV site. Their emphasis is on nature and therefore it is more of a campground with full hookups. The sites are not very level and are kind of tight. The sites and roads are cut into a pine forest so it is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. It is a good central location for visiting Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. Make your reservations early because they fill up fast. We had to book 6 months in advance. Their prices are kind of high but worth the money. We stayed a week and hope to return later. We camped at Colter Bay Village RV Park -- Full Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) in a Motorhome.

Wind River RV Park, Riverton, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The staff was friendly. The restrooms and showers were clean. Our spot needed more grass instead of just weeds. It rained a little when we first arrived and the area stayed muddy because there was not enough grass. The rating would be higher but there were several permanent campers throughout the park. We camped at Wind River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Happy Holiday Resort, Rapid City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We liked the larger trees with lots of shade. The covered patios are great. They have RV parking on both sides of the covered patio. Both campers share the patio. We were there with family that was in another camper so we shared the covered patio and it worked out great. if the park is full you may have another RV'er sharing the patio with you. That could be a little awkward. This is an older facility and the parking spots are smaller and a little tricky to get into. The staff is great and the park is clean. They have a little store that has some groceries. The park is centrally located to all of the tourist sites We camped at Happy Holiday Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Cabela's RV Park & Campground, Sidney, Nebraska

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

This park is one of the cleanest parks that I have stayed in. It has clean restrooms and showers. It is within walking distance of the main Cabela's store. The staff was friendly. It is a newer park and is designed to accommodate larger rigs and there are no sharp turns. We camped at Cabela's RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.
