Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park, Mccalla, Alabama

Date of Stay: January, 2005 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

We camped with our 6 year old son and absolutely loved it! The sites were big enough to move around in, and we had plenty of space to spread out. Campfires are permitted. Lots of things to see and do within the park itself. Nice trails. Staff very friendly. Several geocaches in the park if you are into geocaching. We camped at Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Fort Toulouse-Fort Jackson State Historic Site, Wetumpka, Alabama

Date of Stay: February, 2004 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

My husband and I camped here with our 5 year old son. It is very quiet and the spaces are big. There is room to roam and walk about to see the historical park. There are a few geocaches in the park as well, if you are in to geocaching. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We camped at Fort Toulouse-Fort Jackson State Historic Site in a Travel Trailer.
