Gettysburg Battlefield Resort (Travel Resorts of America), Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here for 2 nights while doing the Gettysburg thing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Some internal roads are very narrow due to the trees. Our Wi-Fi worked great. We camped here in a fifth wheel and would definitely return. We camped at Gettysburg Battlefield Resort (Travel Resorts of America) in a Fifth Wheel.

It is a little bit of a challenge to get here but this is a nice campground. Our site was fairly level but with no shade. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi worked great at our site (42). Great for an overnight stop. We camped at Wolfie's Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Camp Lakewood Campground & RV Park, Effingham, Illinois

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice quiet and shaded park. It was well worth the two mile drive from I-70. Our site, like most, was level. The owners were friendly and helpful and escorted us to our site. We had trouble accessing the Wi-Fi and the owner spent quite some time reconfiguring my new laptop so that I was able to use their service. We would certainly come back again. We camped at Camp Lakewood Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
