We just stayed here for 3 nights to attend Pioneer Days and the tractor show in neighboring Rushville. It was a clean campground with a lot of space between the sites. The staff was very friendly, and it was also the weekend for "Civil War Days" where they reenacted the Civil War, complete with cannon shots and actors in their period clothes and canvas tents. Make sure you have a water filter on your camper because their water is very yellow and has an odor to it due to corroded pipes. That is the only reason why I am giving it a 9 because it was a great place otherwise.

This was our second stay at the campground, and it was just as good as the first time in 2008. Our daughter still loves the little playground with the Little Tikes equipment and the pool. We stayed over the 4th of July weekend, so the price was higher than normal, but they had a great fireworks show on the 3rd, and a DJ with good music on the 4th. The only complaints I have are that the showers are really small and the camp store is more of a souvenir shop than anything. They don't sell shampoo, soap, milk, or any necessities like that, and you have to drive into town to pick up stuff like that if you need to. Also, they have wireless internet access now (didn't have it 2 years ago), but you have to pay $3.00 a day for it. Not a huge deal, but I think it should be complimentary for the price that you pay to stay here.

We just got back from a 3 night stay, and we were very impressed. It is obvious that the owners have put a lot of thought into the place, right down to the lighted electric posts and the cushioned liner in the swimming pool. There are lots of fish to be caught, and activities to do. The showers were hot and clean, and everything was very well maintained. We are local to the area, and will be returning twice this year.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and it was nice, quiet, and serene during the day. We stayed in the back of Buffalo Ridge with very tall trees that provided lots of shade. It was a great fall trip. My only complaint is that there were 20-30 people there a few spots down from us that blasted music, were very loud, and set off fireworks all night. Park rangers never made them stop, and it made for a very restless nights sleep on the first night. There were nice little shops and flea markets here, as well as an awesome pizza place called Harvest Moon. If you like pizza, make sure to stop there. Seriously, the best pizza I have ever had!

We just got back from a 3 night stay and we love this campground. It is very clean and well kept. They have a separate playground for children 4 and under w/ all the little tike's plastic play equipment, and that was nice for our 16 month old daughter. They also have various activities for the children and they did water wars with the kids while we stayed there. We were in site #10 which is one of their deluxe sites with patio furniture and a gas grill. Everyone was so friendly and we will definitely return. They also have mini golf, paddle boats, and hay rides.

This campground was absolutely the most terrible one I have ever stayed at! It is only open to memebers, but we went on a free pass after purchasing a new travel trailer from a dealer across the road. The roads were covered in potholes, the grass was in dire need of being cut, and some of the sites towards the front were so overgrown it would have taken a bushhog to clear them out. The restrooms were filthy and if you took a shower there was no where for you to get dressed, you would have had to walk out in a towel to a stall to get dressed. The electric boxes were so old it kept knocking our power out and the man next to us had a big motorhome w/ 2 a/c units and he could only use one. The staff were incredibly rude, as were some of the guests that we encountered. Then they wanted to sell us a $7,000 membership! For a resort and the money people pay to be members, all these problems should not exsist, and they should add wireless access and cable hook-ups.

Nice campground for the money. There is a big pool located in the park, but you have to drive to it. We would go back if we ever traveled to the area again.

My husband and I love this campground. It is clean, well kept and has all the amenities we need. We have been there 3 times and are sure to return.
