Not set up for anything but long term campers. Utilities were at the rear of RV and shared. We will not stay there again. Go farther into town! We camped at Grape Creek Phoenix RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Really short sites. The end of our RV was at the edge of the road. Easy off I40. We did not use hot tub and pool was still closed for the winter. They have a manned gate that closes at 7 pm. Fuel is just a few blocks away. We camped at Albuquerque Central KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Trailer Village (Concessionnaire Operated), Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona
Date of Stay:
April, 2018 -
$51.00
Overall Rating:
Sites are short, most RVs had to park TV in the gravel. Cable worked but was a bit fuzzy. Bus and trail system is great. We saw lots of Elk, even walking through the campground. We had a end site near the back and had to use several levelers. Quiet, dark great park. We camped at Trailer Village (Concessionnaire Operated) in a Fifth Wheel.

Carlsbad RV Park and Campground, Carlsbad, New Mexico

April, 2018 -
$32.00
Overall Rating:
Old KOA. The indoor pool was nice and location is good. It is clean with mostly long term RVs. There was road noise. Staff was very nice. It's like most the RV parks in the area, gravel, sunny and not very pretty. Our wifi was great but we were right next to antenna. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
Go to Sitti g Bull Falls. It's a little drive but worth it.

Overall Rating:
Not a great part of town. Spots are extremely close. Mostly long term residents. We even had a solicitor come to the RV to sell! Our 34 ft barely fit in the spot. It is easy to get to but the roads and spots in the park are made for 15 ft trailers. No cable as stated. We will go a little farther into town next time. We camped at Crazy Horse RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Alsatian Resort & Golf Club, Castroville, Texas
Date of Stay:
July, 2017 -
$50.00
Overall Rating:
Very well maintained park. The pads were very level with a nice patio furnished with "real" patio table and 2 chairs. The covered pavilion and pool area had very nice comfy furniture as well. Pool was sparkling and area around it kept very clean. The only reason it gets a 9 is there is no shade. From May through September you have to have some shade in central Texas. The onsite restaurant is very good and reasonable priced too. We camped at Alsatian Resort & Golf Club in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice grassy areas between sites. Sites are level. Just behind the park is the beach, its easy walking. I would not get the sites on top next to the road. They are noisy with a lot of traffic. We will visit there again. We camped at Sandpiper RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Great park with wonderful views. Full hook-ups including cable in the middle of no where. We enjoyed the wildlife, hiking and scenic drives. Big Chief RV Resort, Burnet, Texas

It was just OK. The sites are close together, the pool is really small for all the camp sites, there is not any good place to swim in the lake. The pros: the pool is really pretty and the games (horseshoes, volleyball) available. The cons: as states above, plus LOTS of stickers, we were told AFTER we arrived that we should bring our own water because of the taste (which was awful). There are very few sites that have view of the lake. We will not stay here again. We camped at Big Chief RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Really nice park that is recovering from a flood. Most of the park was open when we were there. Our site was groomed when we arrived. We saw the staff clean and groom each site when someone left. Great full hook-ups. Close to town but at a great lake. We will definitely come back. We camped at Airport Park COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Hook ups are weird as they are in site next to you on the other side of a split rail fence. Our site was about 10 feet from the water. Loved watching the birds and boats. Beach area is great. Roads could use a little work. We will stay there again when in the area. We camped at Saint Andrews State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Most site are in a square around a field. You just drive through the field to your site. The pool was nice and the hop on and off trolley will pick you up from the campground. we thought the roads getting to the historic area were a bit on confusing. Office lady gave us a great parking tip. We camped at Red Gate Campground & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
