Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

What a great place. We were in the back loop near the boat to Magic Kingdom, the restaurants, and Mickey's BBQ. The sites are roomy and BEAUTIFUL. Palm trees, pine trees, flowers aaahhhh. There are bike trails, and playgrounds. The Hoop DE DO dinner show was awesome even with 3 kids. There is a beach, motor boats, and horseback riding. You do not ever have to leave the campground. We had a hard time getting our kids to leave for the parks. We rented a golf cart because park is so large you need one. The showers were immaculate and the laundry room fantastic. We cannot wait to go back.. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

San Carlos RV Park & Island Resort, Fort Myers Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2008 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

What a Dump!!! I felt like I was camping in a parking lot. Our picnic table had a truck from our neighbor practically touching it. The view was nice if you could see past the huge rigs parked diagonal on the water side. Nothing at the store, nothing for the kids, a huge traffic jam just to get out of the place. The trolley was always full. We were supposed to stay 6 nights, we left after 1 day. It was only about 1/2 acre big no room for bike riding or anything. Fishing, what a joke. We camped at San Carlos RV Park & Island Resort in a Motorhome.

Groves RV Resort, Fort Myers, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2008 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

It is a beautiful park, Palm trees and I thought the sites were pretty roomy. The other guests were mostly seniors, we have 3 kids and for the most part they were extremely friendly. It is not child friendly. No things at all for kids except pool, which we got yelled at for splashing..There is a beach 1 mile down the road though which was decent. very close to fort Myers Beach, and Sanibel.. We took a cab into Sanibel beach, there is not much parking.. overall it was very nice, quiet , clean, and close to everything We camped at Groves RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Seashore Campsites, Cape May, New Jersey

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Staff is very nice. Campsites are a little crowded.. No privacy and somewhat noisy in the mornings..pull through sites on Q or Quail are basically a parking lot near the garbage dumpsters, septic pumping, with tractors and trucks going by and noisy all day. No relaxation at all especially with small children or dog.. Golf carts transport garbage at high rates of speed .. Back part of campsite is nice and wooded, lake is like a swimming pool with small beach.. Store is great and owner and staff extremely nice,, it is well maintained.. I would stay here again just not in the Q section... We camped at Seashore Campsites in a Motorhome.

Buena Vista Recreation Destination , Buena, New Jersey

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

When we pulled up it looked like a flea market. It was overcrowded with tents. we almost turned right around and left, but the kids wouldn't let us.. The Water slides were just that 2 slides, they were over priced, by the half hour..the pool was falling apart (the concrete was breaking off) the lake was disgusting and smelled.. The lifeguard told me he would Never swim in that water !! I think the dump station drained into the lake.. Nothing opened before 12:00 the playground was dangerous and from the seventies.. I hated everything except the actual site.. it was shady and roomy, and the people near us couldn't have been nicer... We camped at Buena Vista Recreation Destination in a Motorhome.
