Double J Campground and RV Park, Chatham, Illinois

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This was a very nice park. Great shady sites, very clean bathrooms. We were escorted to our site all which seemed to be pull through. The registration room was nicely decorated and had cute items to purchase. They had some groceries for sale and great local information for sightseers. I recommend this park. We camped at Double J Campground and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Portage, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

I was surprised at the price with the total disarray of this park. The front desk disconnected me twice, they gave us completely wrong directions to our site and the bathrooms were filthy. Dead bugs were everywhere and it was not cleaned during the 24 hours we were there. We are in a travel trailer and are on a 6 month road trip. This was the worst campground as of yet. I do not recommend. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

Cape Lookout State Park, Tillamook, Oregon

Date of Stay: March, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

My favorite campground on Oregon's mid coast. Clean restrooms, nice wooded sites. The ones near the dune are close enough to ocean to hear the waves crashing. Oregon parks have a great Junior ranger program. We camped at Cape Lookout State Park in a Travel Trailer.
