Fishing Bridge Campground (NPS Campground), Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Fishing Bridge is so beautiful and so historic. The sites are a little small but you're mainly driving around the Grand Loop seeing the sights. The staff that operate the park were extra nice and accommodated us by getting us a second night stay. We camped at Fishing Bridge Campground (NPS Campground) in a Motorhome.

Virginia City RV Park, Virginia City, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

I had the misfortune of thinking this was a nice RV Park. What a mistake. The male owner is a maniac who passes out THREE pages of his "RULES" and then runs around on a 4-wheeler hoping to 'catch' a violator so he can yell at you. His rules even threaten that the police will be called if he decides to kick you out for not following his numerous 'rules'. Very few other campers were there when we were in July 2008 and I can see why. Several other campers were also shocked at the behavior of the owner. He has no business being in the RV Park business. Maybe that's why it's currently For Sale. I hope someone buys it soon! We camped at Virginia City RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This was an oasis for us with wonderful views and cool weather. The owners were super-friendly and keep the cleanest restrooms I have seen. This is a small but first class campground. Don't pass it up! We camped at Raton Pass Camp and Cafe (Formerly Cedar Rail) in a Travel Trailer.
