Pomo RV Park & Campground, Fort Bragg, California

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent park. Well maintained. Has many different sized sites that will accommodate all different sized rigs, from tents to the biggest trailers. Many of the sites are divided by trees and dense foliage. Apart from group sites, the park is very quiet. Staff is exceptionally helpful. Area has much to offer the whole family. Call ahead, seems very full and busy all the time. We camped at Pomo RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Manchester Beach / Mendocino Coast KOA, Manchester, California

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

The park itself was nice, but it was very loud. Seems like every site had multiple families and groups of kids. It was packed and loud. The park seems to cater to this atmosphere and does a great job at it. The area outside the park has excellent scenery and is well worth the travel. The restrooms reflected the extreme population. They were in good shape, but probably impossible to keep clean with the kids running everywhere. The staff was helpful, but seemed overwhelmed. We camped at Manchester Beach / Mendocino Coast KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Bodega Bay RV Park, Bodega Bay, California

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

Very quiet clean park. Seems to cater to groups and has nice group clubhouses. There's not a lot for kids at the park or in the area really. The price quoted included two kids and the dog. Small trees and dead grass in each spot. Rest rooms very well kept. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We camped at Bodega Bay RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
