Glen Hudson Campsite, Warrensburg, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We did not expect what we found on arrival. Park was great and had our pick of available sites. The owner took us in golf cart to all available sites and let us choose. The river was across the camp road from our site. Seasonal campers very friendly and the owners went out of their way to be helpful. We can't wait to return. There are not many entertaining amenities but relaxing and peaceful. If you want a nice relaxing weekend with friendly neighbors? This is the place. We camped at Glen Hudson Campsite in a Travel Trailer.

Saugerties / Woodstock KOA, Saugerties, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are a little tight but nicely wooded and shaded. Very quiet and the Owners and Staff are the most helpful and friendly people you could ever meet. Took us to the site and helped us back in, and stayed with us until they were sure we were set. Without a doubt we will return We camped at Saugerties / Woodstock KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Waubeeka Family Campground, Copake, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Specified cable TV and AC site. Did not receive either. Was told AC not available in July. When I asked about the cable TV hookup after I was all set up attendant just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. Two night stay for 2 adults and 3 children was $80 when I told them I had no children but brought 2 adult guests I was charged $60 for them to stay two nights. This Campground was recently taken over by Morgan Resorts. How much control over things in this particular campground they have I am not sure. But most of the staff was rude and did not care. A few were friendly but I did not have direct dealings with them. We camped at Waubeeka Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.
