We have been to this park many times over the past several years and were very disappointed this year with the site conditions. The site we were on was never cleaned before our arrival, and it looked like it may have been that way for the past few campers. There were cigarette buts bottle caps and trash in the fire ring. The grass (weeds) had not been cut or any trimming done in awhile or any raking of the site. We have seen a decline in the maintenance just from last year. We understand it has been dry and the grass has dried up but the weeds haven't, that is no excuse for not trimming. Our picnic table was missing, we found it on the next site over that our friends were on, so we left it there. This should have been found by staff if they had properly checked the site prior to our arrival. We never saw any staff out and about around the campground all the time we were there (5 days). It was just an overall disappointment this time. However the campground is in a very good location for visiting the CT shore. Hope they can get their act together because this park has been better than what we found this time.

Great campground, mostly adult and quiet. No barking dogs, they are not allowed ! Well kept but very treed and some tree roots to contend with in your site. Starting a new section that looks like will be more open. We have been to this park several times over the past 16 years or so, and keep going back. Looking forward to when the new section opens.

This is a good campground for a beautiful view of Lake Willoughby. Best if you can get one of the sites right up front in the first row. Beach across the street and boat ramp. We have been going each summer for a week over the past 10 years or so. Keep going back.

We have been to this campground many times over the years and it is our most favorite. We usually go a little pre season when the rates are lower and its less crowded in the area. Never been disappointed with this park. Everything is so uniform and well groomed. Getting out of the park onto Rt 1 can be challenging at times, especially making a left going north. But you may get a nice driver on occasion that will give you a break. Overall a great place !

We have been to this Campground several times and keep coming back. We think it is the best in the area. Quiet peacefull and relaxing. No screaming kids no barking dogs and no golf carts. If those are the things you want then this is the place. This year we had friends join us with their Motorhome and they loved it too. The office staff is the best also. This is a very well run park. Keep up the GOOD WORK LEDGEVIEW ! We will be back.

We stayed at this Campground with our grandaughters for a few days. The best part was the pool. Other than that not much. They enjoyed the pool and water slide but other than that we were not impressed. The sites are all crushed stone, no grass area at all. The dust from the roads cover everything and the 5 MPH speed limit on them is not enforced. The area we were in was heavily traveled to and from the pool and office area. Quiet hour is not enforced either, the campers next to us partied until 1:00 in the morning. Did not see any type of staff or security patrol. For the price per night, it's for more than what you get. We will not return to this Campground.

Mixed feelings. We have been going to this park for several years and two years ago it changed ownership from a family run campground to Morgan RV Resorts. We have not been happy with the type of sites they have tried to put us on in the last two years when we had requested another area altogether. This last time we were to go into the new premimum area that was made from the old tent sites that have been eliminated. we were told last minute that our site would be changed because these sites are now for park models only, even though most are not ocupied at this time. Looks like this park is going more toward seasonal and park models and away from the Transient trade. The sites they tried to put as on had low hanging branches that rubbed the roof of our RV. Most trees need trimming in this park. Sorry to see them go this way because they are about the best on the Cape from the others we have visited. most of the others cater to seasonals more than the Transient Camper also.

We have camped here for several years and this was our second time with the new owners that took over in 2007. Although it is still a very nice small campground we did notice a lack of maintenance from the new owners. We had tree branches hitting the top of our unit on site B25. Many of the trees need trimming. We also noticed more kids and dogs than in the past. At this time we would still recommend this campground and will probably continue camping there. In the past I would have considered it a 10 in by book.

This is a nice but small campground with a beautiful view from the premium sites up front of Lake Willoughby. Canoe and kayak rentals are available.

This is a top notch park in our opinion. We have been here several times and always get a premium site. This year we had #140. Nice quiet and relaxing and that is what we like. This park doesn't have much for activities but is ok with us, there is enough in the area if you want it. It also has one of the cleanest laundry areas we have ever seen.

We found this park very over priced for what we got. Premium water site was on a bay not the ocean, and was nice while the tide was in but not so nice when it was out. We were told that the brush would be cut for a better view of the water but in four days there it was never done. The grass on our site #315 had not been cut in several days. Sites could have been better manicured for this price. At $99.00 per night you would expect a lot more. We could not get lodged on to the Wi-Fi and were never told about it at check in or if there was a fee for use. Out of about 200 sites only about 25 were occupied while we were there at the end of June. We will not return to this park. However we did find the staff very nice, better than a lot of parks we have been at.
