Paradise Point RV Park, DeTour Village, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a no frills campground. 14 total sites all with full hook-ups. No bathhouse, restrooms or store. No office, but you can buy firewood on the honor system. What you get: peace and quiet. Tranquility abounds out on the paradise point. Watch the big freighters pass by like ghosts on the water. This is a cash only campground. The WiFi is actually very good. Enjoy the Eastern most point of Michigan in this tiny gated piece of paradise. We camped at Paradise Point RV Park in a Motorhome.

Red River State Recreation Campground, East Grand Forks, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Wide open spaces. This little park is awesome. The sites are very large with room to spread out. So close to restaurants and shopping that you can smell it. Great place to stop for the night while travelling US 2. Use the online registration the day of and pick a spot. We camped at Red River State Recreation Campground in a Motorhome.

Sleeping Buffalo Hot Springs, Saco, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

If you are heading East or West, this is a fantastic place to stay over. The hot springs pool is outstanding for tired weary travelling bodies. The RV campground is in progress. The sites are level and all hook ups are up to date. Though we did not stay in a cabin, they looked great. This is a family owned and run business and they are doing a great job. So do not pass by Saco Montana when in need of a place to stay, relax and get ready for the travels ahead. We camped at Sleeping Buffalo Hot Springs in a Motorhome.

Wonderful place to stay. The interior roads are all paved. The majority of the sites through the middle are paved. The outer smaller sites are not paved. The campground is near the entrance of Glacier National Park. Shopping is also not far from the campground. We camped at San-Suz-Ed RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a fantastic option when travelling West. The park is actually located in Epping, ND. If you need an over night stay this is perfect. If you are looking for a destination, this park would also be great. The sites provide enough space for even the largest units. We camped at Lewis & Clark State Park in a Motorhome.

If you are travelling through this area, or staying for some time, this is a must stop campground. The lake is beautiful and the park is extremely clean. Defiantly worth the short drive north of US 2. We camped at Fox Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Sleepy Hollow RV Park & Campground, Oxford, Iowa

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Wow, a great place along I-80. The new owners are working hard to improve this campground. They are doing a great job. The little lake is wonderful. This is a great family friendly place. The areas that still need work, include WiFi signal, sites that are not level, nothing a couple of blocks did not fix. There is a very nice camp store. We camped at Sleepy Hollow RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Rock Springs / Green River KOA, Rock Springs, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

There is nothing but gravel in this part of the country. The pool was dirty. The WiFi did not work at site and we were maybe 100 feet from office. We feel it is way over priced for what they offered. We camped at Rock Springs / Green River KOA in a Motorhome.
