Mainly a trailer park with a nice RV section. Roomy sites with all of the amenities, including free internet. Close to town. Would stay here again, looks to be well maintained. We camped at Sintich RV & Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Parking lot style RV park in a beautiful high elevation setting. Georgeous views in every direction. Nice reception building with a nice looking restaurant. Discount meals offered to guests. We did not eat here so I don't know about the food. Many were eating breakfast when we left. I would stay here again: very very nice. We camped at Grand View Cafe & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Haines Hitch-Up RV Park, Haines, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This place is a rare gem. Although you are in an open area, it has plenty of space. The owners meticulously maintain this park. You won't be disappointed. Level spaces on a lush lawn and wide open travel lanes. Convenient RV wash ($) across the street. Everything super clean. We camped at Haines Hitch-Up RV Park in a Motorhome.

Spruce Meadow RV Park, Juneau, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice RV park in a lovely wooded setting. Spaces are wide and wooded. Looks like they spend their money on the nice stuff for the RV'r. The digital cable TV connection was great. Every channel had a perfect, clear picture. Free wireless internet, and close enough to Juneau. Restroom building looked kind of bad but the inside was very clean. Owner on site and friendly. Special area for tenters was more than anyone would expect. Large covered area with outdoor sink. Very, very nice. We camped at Spruce Meadow RV Park in a Motorhome.

Garden City RV Park, Skagway, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This park was OK except for the college age permanent residents who are all over the place. Some are very loud and disturbing and up until midnight. Many swear words and loud cavorting for our 2 night stay. Dog waste all over the place, especially in the areas where you hook up. No FREE wireless, must buy a month of service. Owner very nice but could care less about the noise, dog waste, etc. I would recommend the Pullen RV park instead of this one. Not Mountain View RV park either (also too many loud locals), but Pullen was full and required reservations many days in advance. If you do stay here, get a site in the middle away from the locals. We camped at Garden City RV Park in a Motorhome.
