Timber Ridge Campground & Recreation Resort, Traverse City, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $38.00

Very nice campground. It was extremely kid-friendly. There is a well maintained pool, a big playground, and even a dodge ball court. We camped at Timber Ridge Campground & Recreation Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Leelanau RV Park, Lake Leelanau, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great park for kids! Most of the sites seemed to be taken by seasonal people, but they were very friendly to us one-nighters. Kids activities every day. Nice beach and swimming area. All of the roads are paved so the kids can ride their bikes. This campground was perfect, even though it was expensive. We camped at Lake Leelanau RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Grand Haven Resort (formerly Grand Haven Campground), Grand Haven, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was very disappointing. Many of the special attractions for kids did not work. The sites themselves were very plain, with few trees. I would not stay here again. We camped at Grand Haven Resort (formerly Grand Haven Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice campground. Small but nice beach, very clean water. They have wifi for a small fee. The playground is pretty subpar, but everything else is very nice. We camped at Indian Lake Travel Resort in a Travel Trailer.
