This park is very nice. Bathrooms and showers were somewhat clean, but certainly usable. I say that mostly because of the insects all over the place. Wi-Fi is $1.00 extra per day but expect to bring your laptop to the rec room if you want service. The pool is great. It is big, deep, warm and includes a nice slide. It was nice having a DJ there too. The staff was very friendly. Some residents here and they were very friendly and helpful. A lot to do for kids. Nice playground and this weekend it was x-mas in July so they had a nice hayride around with Santa. Keep in mind that if you have a big rig it will be very tough to maneuver. A lot of trees and very tight but many big rigs are here and people manage. Nice shady sites some wide and some tight. We had a very minor problem though. We have a small motor home and left the area for the day to go to the beach. The staff threw away our rope, tablecloth and retaining clips. We told the staff and they at least were honest enough and pulled the items out of the garbage and returned them to us. We cleaned off the tablecloth (our rope was cut - not a big deal) and enjoyed the rest of our stay. We will certainly be coming back.

This park is very nice. Possibly the best I have ever been to. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Site was very nice. If you are visiting the campground for the first time a worker/ranger escorts you to your site. We had a problem in the beginning as we were escorted to the wrong site by the staff. We set everything up including a screen house and the people that actually had the site showed up. We then had to pack everything up which took us a while and move to our real site. We were a bit upset. The staff member was very apologetic, accepted responsibility, offered to help me pack up and set back up. The matter was resolved very professionally and we were satisfied. A lot of sites do have the same exact number but in a different named area (like "safari") and that is where the confusion originated. Just make sure you are in the right named area before setting up. Anyway there was lots to do here and the pools are very nice. Our site was great and everyone was very friendly. overall a great experience and we will definitely be returning.

This park is too close to a busy highway(US 46) and there is traffic noise. The staff was somewhat friendly. The pool is nice and the campground is close to a nice fishing lake. most sites are shaded. We camped here with cousins who rented a cabin and that seemed nice. I rated this campground a little low for several reasons. Some permanent residents had trashy sites. You are required to rent a fire ring to have a campfire. That was a major turn-off for me and seemed greedy. We also brought our own bicycles to ride around and when I needed air in my tire I was told they do not have an air compressor. Seems untruthful to me since they rent bicycles. I had to go to the gas station 1/2 mile away to fill my tire. we will probably not return.

This was the first full camping we have done since we bought our RV. It was a great park. Clean bathrooms and showers, very private and shady sites. Rangers were very friendly. Site are sandy so you may be sweeping out your living area a lot. Was not much to do here when we stayed but we visited ST. Augustine and had a great time. Fellow campers were friendly and helpful. We plan on returning here.
