We stayed at this campground on Mother's Day weekend and loved it. It had level sites, paved roads (which was nice for riding bikes), an indoor pool & hot tubs (one for adults only), a small beach area, playgrounds for the kids and some scheduled activities. The lake was beautiful with boats or canoes for rental to enjoy being out on the water. The bathrooms were very clean with hot and cold water. This is now on our list of campgrounds to return to someday. We would highly recommend to anyone.

This is a beautiful state park with a 40 acre lake with a nice sandy beach area. The sites were pretty level with enough room between you and your neighbor and was a great campground to be at for the opening day of trout. If you love camping at a state park then this would definitely be a place to stay.

We stayed in the Beechwood section of the Lower Lake Campground. The sites had a paved area for your travel trailer with a picnic table and fire ring. They had Park Rangers patrolling frequently, which was nice. We enjoyed riding bikes and taking hikes on the nature trails. Be sure to bring everything you need, stores are not very close. The lake had a beach where you could swim or rent boats which wad fun for the kids. We will come back to camp here again

The campground has many activites available for both kids and adults. The grounds seem well maintained and the staff was very helpful. We had a fun filled weekend and would come again.
