Hee Hee Illahee RV Resort, Salem, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Paved with grass. Large park, but well run and clean. If this park were in a better location, I would rate it higher. The main problem is the large Fed-Ex facility next door that creates a lot of noise, even through the night with truck transfers and loading/unloading. Recommend earplugs here. Convenient to I-5 and Hwy 99. We camped at Hee Hee Illahee RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Crooked River Ranch RV Park, Crooked River Ranch, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Gravel and sparse grass. This is a family oriented park, so don't be surprised by noise and activity. Spaces are somewhat small, and crowding is aggravated by tents that are allowed in RV sites in addition to the rigs that are there. Many sites are sloped, though not severe. Wonderful golf course here: which is the only reason we would return to this park. Hiking near park. Nice pool. We camped at Crooked River Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.

Friendly RV Park, Weed, California

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This is a bare-bones park, OK for a one nighter off of I-5 or Hwy 97. A stone's throw from major truck stop area with fast food eateries(South Weed exit.) Gravel throughout. Owners are in the process of upgrading the park. We camped at Friendly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Casey's Riverside RV Park, Westfir, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Our second year at Casey's after reading about its Good Sam top ten (in the country!) rating last year. New owners this year, but a continued commitment to customer service and a super clean park. All facilities, including clubhouse, campfire areas, pet run, etc are first class. Sites along the river provide a unique RV camping experience. All paved. Grass next to space. Located in the center of a recreational area. Great biking (road bike or mountain bike), hiking, fishing. This is our favorite park, period. Stayed here a month this year. We camped at Casey's Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Many very nice sites, especially those with a lake view. Paved throughout. Great camp hosts. We are fans of these Maricopa County campgrounds. Enjoyed hiking here. We camped at Lake Pleasant Regional Park in a Motorhome.
