It was early in the year and the park was very clean. Was not busy, but school was still in. Many seasonal sites and looks like it could get busy later in the year. Is on a chain of lakes so activities are good. Lots are mostly shady and on grass, each has a picnic table.

Date of Stay:

Park has expanded since our last visit, and has good water supply, sewer, and 20/30/50 amp service on many more sites. The walking paths are good as well as the trail around the lake.

Date of Stay:

We stayed with about 230 other units for a Diesel Pusher session. We were near the horse paddock and could watch training for barrel races from the coach. The park is very clean and hookups worked well except a 'boil water' alert due to construction outside the park. Plenty of space to walk and other than the hourly trains it was very quiet and we would return for another rally. Some sites do have picnic tables but not where we were.

Date of Stay:

We stopped on a pass through trip home. Had no need for anything other than a place to sleep for the night and Texas T served that purpose. Getting to the park was the easiest ever and despite the closeness to I-65 the traffic noise was not much. Again it was off season and did not expect much yet was met quickly, checked in with very friendly and helpful service. The park was explained and WiFi and cable worked well. More than I would expect in mid January.

Too bad the park can't be rated higher. The owners work on this park and make it great for all that are here. They take personal pride in the park and it's appearance as well as the happiness of the travelers. The sites are angled level gravel with a patio and table for each. Good power, city water, and sewer connection on each. Free wifi, pool, swings, dog park and dog wash top off the list. Half are pull through and the rest back-in.

Date of Stay:

Site was quite level with concrete patio, picnic table, and seemed real clean. We were the last spot available for the night so very thankful. A little traffic noise but not a problem.

Date of Stay:

Park is very close to the freeway and easy to find but be careful as signs can be misleading. Traffic noise is not too great year always there. We arrived in the rain, was greeted by attendant and treated well. Park is clean and has rules to keep it that way. Site was fairly level. Is a good park for an overnight. We would stop again if passing through.

Date of Stay:

Park was clean, had lakefront, off lake, tenting, and pull through sites. Playgrounds and picnic shelters were available for groups. Most of the park were clean seasonal sites. We stayed on the closing weekend, so there were no activities but the calendar listed many during the open seasons.

Date of Stay:

This must be the cleanest park I've ever been in. They are working on appearance at all times. New power pedestals have been added increasing the number of sites with power. Hiking areas in the rear of the park still exist but are a little smaller. Storage is available for those wanting it with placement on a site with only a phone call. Staff is all family and works to make the stay enjoyable.

Date of Stay:

Park is very friendly, clean, with mostly grass sites that are level. Lake was good for sailing my RC sailboat. Wood is available at the office and a small store in next to the park with all other items including ice cream by the scoop. We come here every year. We camped at Aloha State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay:

Park is continually changing first with all the trees removed and grass taking over all sites. It is looking cleaner than it even did before. Park has gotten seagulls to stay mostly away. Lake and bay levels are way up causing most of dog beach and regular beach to go away. This is just a cyclic change. Park personnel are great with attention to details. Wood delivery to your site is a bonus here.

The park was very clean as always. Sites are not all level but are paved with good grills, table areas, and tent site areas for each site. Trail to the lake is good. Wood is available at the site and dry. Electric and showers used to be extra and now are included in the base fee which makes this a real good deal.

Second year we stayed in September and had a great experience. The sites were all clean, trash free, with good utilities. The way the sites are staggered makes a pleasant view for everyone. Staff, family, in the office has always been helpful for whatever we needed.

We stayed during the week between two Harvest Festivals and the park was empty. This park is always clean with the biggest activity being watching freighters travel the St. Clair River. Sites are either paved or graveled with power poles close in the rear. Off the pads it is mostly grassy. Would rate higher if there was anything outside the park to do.

Hate to keep posting the same year after year but this park has improved each year. Grass is kept great, playgrounds, pool, office, day-use area, and roads are all in great shape. Power level is good and cable is the best. Too bad it doesn't have sewer hookups. The dump is tilted a little the wrong way so can be a challenge. Disc golf on site is improving each year.
