Mustang Run RV Park, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Date of Stay:
February, 2018 -
$22.00
Overall Rating:
Very clean and well kept park, the staff was friendly and helpful. The park is conveniently located just off I-40, although a little tricky getting in and out of. It's also pretty noisy if you're up near the interstate. A great place to stay for any length of time. The rate reflects the monthly rate, which included electric. Our site had a storm shelter in the front yard, which was a little inconvenient, but could be a blessing during severe storms. We camped at Mustang Run RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Park Ridge RV Campground, Van Buren, Arkansas
Date of Stay:
January, 2018 -
$38.00
Overall Rating:
There had been some rain and the park roads and sites were very muddy. We made reservation and arrived early afternoon. No one was in the office (no one was ever in the office), we called and the lady/owner told us to pick an empty spot, she later told us we picked the wrong spot. When paying, we asked for Good Sam discount. She said we had to have the card as the number was incorrect. We printed a temp card for her (the # was correct). We were over charged $50, when we asked about the charge, she said we would need to prove it. We printed a copy of our statement, and the money was credited back. The lady was extremely rude and hateful. Her husband was pleasant. Not worth the aggravation, stay somewhere else. We camped at Park Ridge RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Our first time staying here, and were pleasantly surprised. Very nice campground and a great price. Location is a little out of the way, but well worth it. We didn't know how to check in until we asked another camper. We camped at Redman Creek Campground COE in a Travel Trailer.

Great place to get away from the usual beach crowd. We stayed in the north loop, which is smaller and a little more roomy. Wifi is basically non-existent in the north loop but worked pretty good in the south loop. We camped at Matagorda Bay Nature Park in a Travel Trailer.

Quail Ridge RV Park, Stockdale, Texas

Overall Rating:
Better than you would expect for a small town. Park is only a couple of years old and everything reflects that. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful, even had a young man come out and ask if we needed him to help us set up. Not much going on hear but a great place for a day or two. We camped at Quail Ridge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Older KOA but in great shape. Only stayed one night but the park seemed to have everything you would need. The family restrooms / showers in the middle of the park were a little strange. We camped at Albuquerque Central KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here a couple of years ago, not much has changed. Very nice park, friendly staff and great weather. Sites are a little tight. We camped at Blue Spruce RV Park & Cabins in a Travel Trailer.
Ride the Durango / Silverton train. We rode the train up and back. Would probably recommend riding the train up and take the bus back.

Okay for a night or two max. Convenient to Mesa Verde, only reason we stopped. Extremely overpriced for water and electric. Tightest sites we've seen in awhile, literally door to door with neighbors. Staff was very nice. We camped at Cortez / Mesa Verde KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Valley Inn Motel RV Park Club , McAlester, Oklahoma
Date of Stay:
May, 2016 -
$30.00
Overall Rating:
Probably the worst campground we've ever stayed at. Their pull-through sites are a joke, extreme ruts and so un-level I didn't want to unhook from the truck because it would be too difficult to hook back up. Trains coming by, 1-2 per hour all night long. The lady that checked us in was nice enough, but didn't have a clue when dealing with the RV park. We could have gotten a discount but she couldn't find her discount sheet. The electric hook-ups were confusing, the people next to us were hooked up to our service. We are normally not to hard to please, but this place is a disaster. Boon-docking would have been a much wiser choice. We camped at Valley Inn Motel RV Park Club in a Fifth Wheel.
