Sierra Village Lodge and RV Park, Taos, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

As mentioned there is no cellular service. The wifi is practically non existent. It is difficult to get into sites with a big rig. One of our fellow travelers who was using 30 amp service could not use an air conditioner without the voltage going too low. The roads are dusty. We camped at Sierra Village Lodge and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Big Oak RV Park, Tallahassee, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Although the park was full, the manager gave us a park next to the office. We were arriving late so she placed cones at the site so it would be available for us and we could easily see it. The wifi was the best we have had in an RV park. We camped at Big Oak RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Office staff was very accommodating. Site was difficult to enter due to the slope. Neighbors were very pleasant and extremely helpful. Would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Bonnet Lake Campgrounds in a Fifth Wheel.

Tropical Gardens RV Park, Bradenton, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

The man in the office was rude, using the f word in his instructions. We have been RVing for 9 years and this is the most hateful representative of a park that we have encountered. The sites were tight, but that is common in this area. The residents were helpful. Wifi was iffy. We camped at Tropical Gardens RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $72.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here because nearby parks had no space. We paid the extra amount for an extended site so that we could park our truck with the trailer since the site originally assigned would not accommodate both. The interior roads had huge holes in them. The speed bumps are extreme. Our site had a large hole in the grass which was an obvious hazard. This is a park with lots of activities for children. However, for empty nesters this was a very poor value. The wifi was practically nonexistent. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The site on the river was excellent! We enjoyed watching the barges and listening to the river. The Wi-Fi was weak to nonexistent. There is no cable, but plenty of over the air stations. Our reservation was "lost" when we arrived, but we were placed in a motorhome site. We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Travel Trailer.

Bean Pot Campground, Crossville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

The campground has some sites wide enough to extend the awning. Many do not. Some sites are a little difficult to enter and leave with big rigs. The staff is very friendly and always accessible. We camped at Bean Pot Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overnite RV Park, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The rate was $30.60 with Good Sam discount. The Wi-Fi didn't work most of the time and the cable was snowy except a couple of channels. Park is okay for overnight, so it lives up to its name. We camped at Overnite RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful views! The rate is a Good Sam rate. The camp hostess is amazing! The only thing tricky is the road. We were fine with no one traveling in the opposite direction. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Travel Trailer.

Spring Lake RV Resort, Crossville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Great campground! We did have problems with Wi-Fi off and on for a week. My only complaint is there is not a close trash receptacle on the back side of the lake. The camp hosts are great folks and are very helpful. We stay here every time we are in the Crossville area. We camped at Spring Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The owners of the campground were very friendly. We enjoyed the 6 days we were there. The only problem was the sites were not very level. Laundry facilities were good. Nice campground! We will camp there again. We camped at Bean Pot Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Great spot when a little service is needed from Camping World. The large rocks were a little tricky when navigating the campground for both parking and exiting. We camped at Camping World RV Sales of Chattanooga in a Fifth Wheel.

Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park, Vicksburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Site was a little difficult to level. Office personnel were easy to deal with. Although we didn't use the casino offerings, the campsite was close to the historic areas of the city. We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
