A great park for visiting the Minneapolis/St Paul Area. Some sites are a little tight but most have plenty of space. It is a small quiet campground which is very well maintained by a friendly helpful staff. We will definitely be using this park again as we travel to the area quite often to visit family.

Date of Stay:

We used this for an over night as we traveled from Denver to the Midwest. As we generally find for over nights on the road; near the hi-way is most important. Like most KOA's the spaces are tight but the park was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, we would only stop here again if we were in need of an overnight stop.

We generally stay at Cherry Creek whenever we visit the Denver area. It is a wonderful state park given the urban location. Lots of space (sites and the overall park) and extremely well maintained. Years ago we stayed at different private RV parks in the area and there is simply no comparison for our needs and preferences.

Date of Stay:

We stayed here one night on our way home from the east coast. The park was clean and staff was helpful. We did not use any of the facilities, sine we were in late and out early. However, it looked well maintained and we would stay here again if we needed a single night or if had reason to be in the area for a few days.

Date of Stay:

We have stayed here previously while visiting the DC area. This trip we spent 4 nights at the park. Each time we find more improvements. The grounds are very well maintained and the staff is as good as you will find. Most sites are very roomy and the pull through site we had this trip was extra large. We will return here when we are visiting the area again as it is not only well located, it is one of the best large city RV parks we have ever found.

We spent 7 nights here while visiting the Burlington area. The campground has the benefit of a great location and is generally well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We did not have a full hook up site, so used the showers Unfortunately, due to the heavy use and age, the shower house was less than clean and could certainly use some updating. Our bigger concern though was the amount of noise (several nights we were kept awake by noisy campers/party's well past mid night). The space was also a big problem for us. In 7 nights there was never a time we could have used our fire pit because other units were too close. Further, the park did not seem to enforce it's one vehicle per site rule. More than once we had to park away from our site because of other cars. Because of these issues we will probably only return here if we are able to reserve a full hook-up site. They have a little more space and are away from the noisy sections of the campground.

We stayed here one night on our way to Vermont. We found it to be a very nice KOA with a helpful staff and clean well maintained grounds. While we probably would stay for an extended period, we would certainly make it a one night stop if passing through the area.

We stayed here for a week while visiting the area. Normally we do not stay at KOA other than overnights. However, we were very pleased with this park. Great staff, well maintained and super location for visiting DC, Baltimore and Annapolis. Our site was a little close to other units but more than acceptable. The price is a more than we are used to, but after checking other options it seems to be what you have to pay in the area. We will definitely stay here again.

We stopped for one night while returning home from the east. Park was very clean and well maintained. There is no store to speak of and we did not use any of the other facilities. We were disappointed with the Wi-Fi as it was less than reliable. About half the park appears to be permanent units, but they all looked clean and and well kept. Our site was easy to access and very level. We will use this park again if traveling through or even if we were staying in the area for few days.

Stayed here for an overnight. The park looks to be well maintained although we did not use any of the facilities. That being said there were a number of small things that soured our opinion of the park. First the sites were small and not level. The park is on a hill and everything is at a slope. We could not fully extend our entry stairs and because of the narrow site were not able to get the trailer level. The hook ups were poorly laid out. Electric and sewer on one side and water on the other. I had 50 ft of electric cord so could make that connection, but only had one section of hose so had to really play around with positioning to make it reach. Finally, the park is very close to the highway (although you have to travel some narrow back roads to get there). As a result the road noise was very loud all night. We will look for another option when in the area again.

Cherry Creek continues to our choice when in the Denver area. Large spacious sites, great staff and super location. In addition the park provides a lot of activity options.

Stayed here for a week while visiting the Ludington area. Great location and despite being "in town" the park was not noisy even with the holiday weekend. The sites were pretty well spaced and fairly level. We made a late reservation so had a limited selection of sites but still found one that worked well. Great staff and very well maintained park. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Stayed here for a quick one night stop on our way across Nebraska. We did not use any of the facilities, but the park looked well maintained. Our site had easy access and was very level. Good Wi-Fi connection. We will definitely look at stopping here again if we need a overnight stop or had a reason to stay in the area for a few days.

We stopped here for a one night on our way out west. Very rough gravel roads into our site, which was not very level. We did not use any of the facilities (store, pool, washrooms etc) so can not comment on them, but our main complaint was the noise. All kinds of noise until late into the night. We even had a visit from someone soliciting some kind of product at 9:30 at night. Although it was just a one night stop we would probably look for another option when crossing Nebraska.

We were very disappointed with what we thought would be a quality park for a short three day visit to the San Antonio area. The sites were tight with little room between units. The wi-fi was an extra daily fee which we have never incurred before. Water pressure was an issue (lack of). Finally I know location is an individual preference, but it seemed all the area tourism activities we were there for were always 30 - 45 minutes away. We will look for another option when visiting San Antonio again.
