Lake Myers RV Resort, Mocksville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

What a great place! My wife and I were so impressed with this campground after one visit that we became seasonal campers. We both look forward to our get away weekends with all the amenities like Bingo on Friday and Saturday Nights, large clean pools, playgrounds for the grandchildren, fishing in two lakes, Band or DJ on Saturday Nights with Gospel music on Friday Nights and Fellowship on Sunday Morning, Paddle boats and canoes, horse shoe tournaments. The onsite grill is excellent. The Managers are friendly, knowledgeable and very children oriented, for example they have installed an outdoor movie screen and are very selective about the movies that are shown on the weekends, in addition to the lollipop flashlight hunt on Saturday night, crafts, dodge ball, basketball, skating, the list goes on and on. Camping as we all know is about the family, children, the people, the friends that you make along the way and the memories of all the above solidify the experience. I would highly recommend this park. We camped at Lake Myers RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here, but were a little disappointed that you could not see the river from any of the sites. You had to go down a small trail to see the water. We camped at Dan River Campground in a Motorhome.
