Pretty park and only 5 miles to Frankenmuth. Level, roomy sites. Price too high for no Wi-Fi or cable. Office not overly friendly. Oil well at entrance smells. Charges for showers and $3 each for extra people beyond the two of us (although 4 per site are supposedly allowed) because our friends weren't there at check in. Resent being nickel and dimed to death when rate is too high to begin with. Would not return.

Date of Stay:

This campground could use some sprucing up. Sites unlevel and in need of some landscaping. Areas landscaped were full of weeds. Felt rushed when checking in. Trash only at exit but far off the driveway. Fire ring was right next to a singed bush and too close to the RV.

Date of Stay:

The check in for this park is in the bar in front of it, which may sound sleazy, but it is clean, bright and has a store as well. Meals are also available. The manager was very professional. The spaces are large, shady and grassy. The WiFi was the best ever, however if you have to rely on your antenna, you get three channels-all public TV. If that doesn't matter to you, this is a great park.

Date of Stay:

The TV reception was good, but the WiFi was not worth bothering with. The office and grounds need work. The location is good for visiting the Port of Duluth/Superior, which has lots of restaurants, shops, pretty landscaping and fountains. The William Irvin Ship Tour is good. The only other campground which is a bit closer is really run down.

The old sign for this campground is the only thing that needs changing. Beyond the sign, the owner is really nice and even made several calls trying to find a dog groomer for us. The TV and WiFi were excellent. The sites are divided by grass and each has a picnic table. It is just off the Interstate, but it is very quiet. We really liked this place.

Date of Stay:

This is an easy on/off the Interstate and there are stores and restaurants nearby. The park is dusty, and the bushes and trees need trimming. It is not the usual neat as a pin that one expects at a KOA. The place needs work. The WiFi is practically nil, and they said they were switching to a new provider.

We arrived after hours but our site info was posted at the office. There are many full time residents, but they were respectful and friendly. We met the office worker the next day and she was very nice. The sites are cement with nice grass and the roads are wide and paved. There are many restaurants and stores nearby and this is an easy on and off the highway. We used this as a stop over between Las Vegas and San Francisco. We were not bothered by trains or trucks with generators. A nice park.

This is an immaculate well-maintained and quiet campground. The laundry and showers were spotless. The sites are concrete with lush grass between them and nice picnic tables. The office staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for experiencing the breathtaking redwoods and don't miss the delicious blackberries growing all around the park's perimeter. This is definitely a great choice.

Date of Stay:

The office and pool area are nicely maintained, but once you get beyond them, the site area is overgrown and unkempt. The sites are way too narrow, and we couldn't put one slide out or the awning. I really have to disagree about the potential that exists, as mentioned in previous reviews, because nothing could improve on the trains whistling all night long that sounded like they were coming right through the campground. We got no sleep at all. I also resent paying extra for a pet that I always clean up after.

Date of Stay:

The previous reviews are true, and the only reason for my "8" rating was no cable, and the antenna reception was nil. Don't know if satellite reception was good or not. Take a walk around and sample the delicious berries growing wild.

This is as close to the Oregon Coast as you'll get. The WiFi and cable were great and the office staff was more than accommodating. The sunset is not to be missed! The park is dusty with no grass but the view is magnificent. We reserved a pull through site, but there was a mix-up and the only space available was a back-in and they refunded the total amount! Unheard of!!

Date of Stay:

This location is perfect for visiting the Oregon Dunes. The park staff is very friendly and helpful and the park is immaculate, right down to its enclosed pet area. The cable and WiFi are excellent and the park is gated. Be sure to visit the "Old Town" area for quaint shops and waterfront dining. All parks should be like this.

This is an immaculate campground with shade trees, lush grass and plenty of flowers. The cement spaces are wide and there is a side space for your car. The office workers are efficient and friendly. The cable and WiFi are excellent: a rare find. Take the Historic Route 30 to view breath taking waterfalls. This is a place to return to.

We totally enjoyed this immaculate park. The excellent WiFi, which is a rare, and cable, as well as the meticulous landscaping made this an excellent choice. The cement spaces are roomy with a separate spot on the side for your car and are separated by lush grass and small shade trees. The park host is pleasant and very accommodating. We would definitely return: who wouldn't?

The only reason I did not give this park a 10 was the WiFi. Other than that, it is new with cement sites with grass between them. The laundry and other facilities were very clean. Although close to the highway, there was no traffic noise. This is also close to Temple Square. I found the office girls to be pleasant and helpful. Take everyone's advice and stay away from the bug infested, smelly Salt Lake. If you need an excellent and honest repairman, call Mr. Mobile.
