Custer's Gulch RV Park, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Small family run park. Very friendly owners. Quiet and off the road. Long wide sites. Well maintained. Laundry only has two washers and two dryers so it can jam up. Only a mile from the entrance to Custer State Park and three miles from town and grocery store. We camped at Custer's Gulch RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pleasant park located on the lake but it is a walk to the lake. Well laid out. No real shade. We camped at Boyd Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Dakota Campground and Birco RV Parts and Service, Walsenburg, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Although the owner is very friendly the camp itself is poorly maintained and feels like a dump. Right on the frontage road. Many sites taken by permanent residents. RV service is good and they have many parts which is why we stopped to begin with. We camped at Dakota Campground and Birco RV Parts and Service in a Motorhome.
