Lucy's Place RV Park, La Veta, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a real find. It is a "small city" park atmosphere with lots of grass and shade trees. Ideal location for fishing and touring and enjoying the local activities. Owners are most friendly and helpful and make everyone so welcome. Planned to stay two days, stayed for seven. We would definitely return. We camped at Lucy's Place RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Red Desert Rose Campground (formerly RV World Campground), Rawlins, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Older lower rated reviews more accurate. Sites are dirt and gravel and we had some difficulty getting level. Sites could use a good top coating of gravel. Grass is marginal at best. Water and electric are about 20 feet from sewer. Might work for some but we had to move to dump upon leaving. Incessant and loud noise from highway and railroad is the worst we have experienced. Positives: friendly host and strong Wi-Fi. We camped at Red Desert Rose Campground (formerly RV World Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

New Glasgow Highlands, New Glasgow, Prince Edward Island

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

All or the previous reviews are right on! This was the most enjoyable stay after traveling through the US and Maritimes for three months. We stayed here in our travel trailer with our dog for two weeks, and I can't recall any finer, cleaner, nicer place to stay. The owners are so caring and friendly. The sites are large with wonderful privacy. The area is near beautiful walks and there is a great field for exercising your dog. If you are in this very convenient area, don't miss this park! We camped at New Glasgow Highlands in a Travel Trailer.

Ozark RV Park, Mountain View, Arkansas

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

It is a very good location for visiting the Ozark Cultural State Park (a wonderful place to visit), as you can walk to it from the RV Park. There are very tight spaces for back-in with little room for the tow vehicle. The attendants were longer stay hosts and not all that knowledgeable about the RV Park or area. They could have put us in several larger and continuously vacant spots, but we were located next to an occupied site that was also very tight. We had to jockey our tow vehicles to fit. We camped at Ozark RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Pleasant RV Park, Bothell, Washington

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

If travelling from BC, this is a good first stop. It is expensive, mostly long-term stays, but reasonably quiet, very clean, and a nice lake view and paved walks around the lake. There is a small trail for dog walking. The staff is friendly and efficient. It is good overnight or longer if visiting Seattle area. We have stayed here overnight numerous times. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
