Overall Rating:

Fine overnight stop. Close to I-40 so easy access, but a bit of highway noise. Would not hesitate to stay here again. We camped at Delta Ridge RV Park, Inc. in a Motorhome.

This is a great overnight stop. We agree with the other reviewer, don't miss the WOW Diner just across I-40. It might be worth scheduling a stop in Grants just to eat there. We camped at Bar S RV Park in a Motorhome.

Johnson Creek RV Resort & Park, Kerrville, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2010 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Rate is for Passport America. All sites and roads are paved. The people are friendly. And the propane price is reasonable. This would be a good place to spend the winter if you could stand a few cold nights. We'll be back. We camped at Johnson Creek RV Resort & Park in a Motorhome.

Western Sky's RV Park, Vado, New Mexico

OK for an overnight stay, all gravel with paved patio at each site. Close to nothing, but relatively convenient to Las Cruces and El Paso. We camped at Western Sky's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fort Stockton RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This is an RV Park, definitely not a Resort, but having said that, it is OK. We'd stay overnight again. The in-park cafe is a Mom and Pop operation (literally). The food was good and it is nice to be able to get a hot meal without having to unhook the car and go find a place to eat. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bay View RV Resort, Rockport, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2010 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

ROD rate. This is a nice park, but the roads are very badly potholed. Our site was gravel with a paved patio. Coming from the north, the park sign was covered by a canvas sign saying public camping, or something to that effect. It caused us to drive past and we had to find a place to turn around. We camped at Bay View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Dogwood Acres Campground, Newville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice country campground. Good place for a few days in the country. Our site was level, full hook-ups and grassy gravel. The only problem I saw for our 40ft motorhome was the narrow driveway turn-in off a narrow 2 lane road. The park is well maintained. We camped at Dogwood Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

In & Out RV Park, Lake City, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2008 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The front of this park is residential with everything from Airstreams to tents. However, the back of the park opens up to paved roads with 50 amp full hookups and grass pull-throughs. We would stay there again but will probably choose another park in the area next time. We camped at In & Out RV Park in a Motorhome.

AB Camping & RV Park, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are bit tight for big rigs, but this is a decent park and Cheyenne is an interesting destination. As somebody else noted, the barbecue served from a chuck wagon trailer nightly is quite good. We'd stay here again. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Double Nickel Campground, Waco, Nebraska

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice, big park but not near any city. Rate paid was Passport America. There is a golf course adjacent to the park. The pool and playground area looked good. There is also miniature golf for an additional charge. This is the kind of place you hope to find for an overnight stay. We camped at Double Nickel Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a fine park adjacent to the local fairgrounds. The facilities look like they'd be great for a chapter rally. We'd stay here again. Highly recommended. We camped at Cottonwoods RV Park in a Motorhome.

Town & Country Camping & RV Park, Sikeston, Missouri

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park. The rate we paid was for Passport and included $3 up-charge for 50 amp service. The rack rate of $40 seems unreasonable for this park, so the majority of overnight customers must be Passport America members. Driving directions and a billboard on I-55 southbound say take Exit 69. This leads you down a 1 1/2 lane farm road and then over to Hwy 62 about a half mile south of Exit 67. Apparently the only reason for this silly detour is so you won't drive past another nice RV park that is much closer to I-55. We will not stay here again. We camped at Town & Country Camping & RV Park in a Motorhome.
