Coffee Creek RV Resort, Santo, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Easy access to IH20 and US281. Very quiet. Rather large campground with several laundry and bath facilities. Management seems to try to space their customers out as much as possible. Camp sites are all long pull throughs. Sites are level. Grounds are clean and well maintained. We camped at Coffee Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Lions RV Park, Tyler, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small, no frills campground. There is little for children to do, so take that into account. Most of the guests are long term. The campground is clean and well maintained. The camp sites are level and easily accessed. Management is onsite and very attentive to your needs. We were here for several days and will definitely stay here again next time we are in the Tyler area. We camped at Lions RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Oak Creek RV Park, Weatherford, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We were in the area on a family emergency. Found the management to be very understanding of our situation and provided information that might should be considered during our stay. Sites are levels concrete and quite wide. Facilities are well maintained. East access from interstate 20 but remained very quiet. Will plan on staying there next time I travel to the area. We camped at Oak Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake City Campground & Resort, Lake City, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Without a doubt one of the best parks we have ever stayed at. Very friendly helpful staff that nicely explained the amenities and park rules as the apply to pets. Very large well kept, level, partially paved sites. We camped at Lake City Campground & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Omega Farms RV Park, Willis, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is in a lovely setting in a rural very quiet location. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The sites are all gravel. Some sites did have concrete patios. Our site and the ones on either side of us were much too close together. We parked in the middle of our site and our neighbors had no space for their picnic table and chairs. With the gravel sites and roads there was a real dust issue every time someone drove by even if driving very slow. We would stay there again but with some hesitancy. We camped at Omega Farms RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

West 40 RV Park (CLOSED), Shamrock, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is not a destination campground, but is a great stopover spot. We had a minor electrical problem (operator error). When we asked for some guidance from the owner he gladly provided some guidance and then immediately drove to our site to make sure things were OK. The sites are graveled and grass. The sites are for the most part level. The only negative we had was that it rained the night we stayed and the next morning there was a mud puddle at our front step This is an older campground but is very well maintained. The owner worked day and night doing routine maintenance. I would gladly stay here again. We camped at West 40 RV Park (CLOSED) in a Fifth Wheel.

Mitchell Resort and RV Park, Perrin, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived very late, well after the office closed. The owner happily greeted us, and escorted us to our site. Most if not all sites are quite large and level. The sites are graveled. The campground is very rural with plenty of trees. This campground caters to family reunions. The campground lives up to the description in their webpage. I only wish I anticipated a time that I would be back in that part of Texas so I could stay there again. We camped at Mitchell Resort and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

High Island RV Park, High Island, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Very well maintained. Owners live on site and make themselves available to the needs of their clients. Concrete pads are level. Fire pits are available at most if not all spaces. The office has some supplies but there is not a grocery store for several miles. Bring insect repellent, you will need it. We camped at High Island RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
